Ishqbaaz narrates the story of modern day Royalty of Rich and the clash that accompanies the power struggle. Omkara SinghOberoi is one such chapter in this narration. Born to Tej SinghOberoi and his wife Jhanvi, Omkara is the second son to the third generation of Oberoi lineage.

He is a man of few words and actions. It is his intense love for his brothers and his passion for art that defines him the best. He doesn't believe in perfect or happy endings and is aloof from the hubbub of the din that the Rich create. Due to the severity of strained relations, he had fallen to being a drug addict to escape his realities. Shivaay acting like a true blue brother pulled him out of his pits and now he channels his energies into creating masterpieces.

The only time that he sheds his inhibitions and his guards is when he is with his brothers Shivaay and Rudra or with a complete rockstar of a Dadi, Kalyani.

Omkara is played by the talented Kunal Kulbhushan Singh.Born on 29^th of July, 1989 this talented young bundle completed his studies from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics.

He made his debut with Star Plus's mega series titled MannKii Aawaaz Pratigya. He played the character of Gunga. Hisnext outing was as Ranveer Shergil in Channel V's popular teen show The Buddy Project, which shot him to acclaim and fame. He was there after seen in a short film titled That Night by TheShort Kut along side his BuddyProject co-star Bharti Kumar.

He was also seen in an episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui onBindaas, Twist Waala Love on Channel V and SaavdhaanIndia on LifeOK.

He then had a short stint in Zee TV's Doli Armaano Kii that dealt with the story of a woman in an abusive relationship. He is currently seen as Omkara Singh Oberoi in Ishqbaaz.
