Yes it's shot in Brazil . The word lambada suggests Brazilian dance and Brazilian speak Portuguese. But it looked like bachata that goes Right to left on a 4 beat and salsa is back to front on a three beat so that's why asked if its Cuban salsa ? May be this is Brazilian salsa on a 4 beat.
