We have all talked about Devakshi scene... It was indeed beautiful...
But I want to talk about the scene before that...
Dev at the Bose House...
Sonakshi wasn't home...
Nothing to show to her that he is trying to gel into her family, the way she does with his family...
It is his own gesture...
And very well appreciated...
The scene goes as below...

Call bell at the Bose House rings...
Bijoy opens the door... His face frowning...
It's Dev standing at the door...
Dev touches Bijoy's feet...
No response from Baba in law...
Bijoy sets a little aside, but didn't ask Dev to get in...
Asha comes asking who's at the door...
Sees Dev, and admonishes her husband for not asking him in...
Asha ushers Dev inside, and Dev touches her feet as well... She blesses him... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Asha makes him sit on the sofa
She sits on the sofa next to him...
She calls him Dev babu...
He asks her to call him just Dev...
Dev gives her a box of Bengali sweets...
Asha says - Dev babu, it wasn't needed...
Dev very candidly replied- Who needs sweets... I felt like bringing, so I bought... (And then hesitantly added) Maa...
And also addresses Bijoy as Baba...
No reaction from Bijoy again...
But Asha had a very fond smile on her face...
She said - Now when you have called me Maa, now I will call you just Deb... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Dev adds about his mother talking to pandit ji about mahurat for wedding...
Bijoy kind of insults Dev and his family, asking them to wait for sometime and see it their daughter is capable of becoming their daughter in law of the house...

Dev hears all the insults very humbly... He didn't even cringe or made any face... Took it the way any wrong doer does... Understanding his mistake and enduring it's repercussions too...

Sona and Elena were hearing all this... Both looked serious...
Bijoy leaves the hall...
Elena dissolves the tension, picking up the sweets and saying - Who brought the sweets...
Asha tells Dev brought...
She opens the box and is delighted to see Sondesh in it...
She tells Dev, he has earned one brownie point for this...
And Dev gives a good nice smile...

And Sonakshi asks him to come out with her...

Ok, that was the scene, I was talking about...
Now my two cents into it...

All those who were really pissed off with Dev's character earlier, I want you guys to see the situation again with open eyes... Give him a chance yet again...

Forgiven are not only those who ask for forgiveness,
Forgiven are those too, who work towards forgiveness...
Even if Dev didn't fold his hands and begged before the Bose family for forgiveness, even when he didn't shed buckets of tears of regret before Sonakshi, yesterday... Yet he meant sorry.. He is meaning sorry, and will keep on trying to do that until he is really forgiven by his in laws...

He could have playfully gone around the city taking his to be wife after her work, spend time with her, could have talked an essay about how much he loves her...
But he chose to go to his in laws and start building his bond with them from the scratch...

You know how this situation looks to me like? An analogy if it is relatable to you all...
Done sketching /painting with Oil pastels?
If not, I can tell it's basic process...
Whatever we want to draw or sketch, we draw it on a BLANK WHITE SHEET with COLORFUL oil pastels...
When we are done with all that sketching, we start covering the entire painting with BLACK oil pastels...
It covers the entire beautiful painting, and nothing is seen on it...
Then you take a blade or sharp edge thing, and start SCRAPING OFF THE BLACK DARKNESS...
What comes out is beautiful NIGHT COLORS, that come through from the black background, yet stand out to be extremely BEAUTIFUL!!!

NOW LET'S UNDERSTAND THE ANALOGY WITH RESPECT TO THE SHOW :
Devakshi relationship was a BLANK WHITE SHEET in the start...
They started colouring their blank life with the COLOUFUL sketches of their love, and made a beautiful picture...
But, they say na, Wo ishq hi kya jismein imtehaan na ho... So the test of their love took place, and covered everything with the BLACK DARKNESS... Such that there seemed not a trace of the beautiful colourful paintings of love they made...
All thought the sketches are gone, there's nothing but pitch darkness is left between the two lovers...
Devakshi assured that the painting is still there, ie. their love is still there. It only needs the covers of darkness to be removed...
Dev has taken upon himself the blades of harshness and rudeness from his father in law, allowing in the progressive manner to slowly but surely let the darkness scape away, and let the world see, though there is a dark background, ie, there are reasons of worry coz of the past incidents, yet what they have come out together as a painting is so beautiful, that whoever sees it, will keep on envying the beauty of love...
And one day even those who are putting sharp blades on the darkness of their painting, will appreciate what it made right now, couldn't have been any less beautiful...

Thanks for reading...

PS: Two cents se kuch zyada hi ho gaya... ๐Ÿ˜†

Hi Richa... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
Welcome back honey.. ๐Ÿค—
Ho gaya tumhara SSC ka exam?
Kaisa raha? Government Afsar ban jaao toh party zaroor dena... ๐Ÿ˜†

Coming to my post, thank you very much for liking what I wrote... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
I know it's just the beginning of Dev's efforts, but he started, and thought about it is very appreciable...

Why I am appreciating his little efforts is because, there are sons in law who are just interested in the girl, and to hell with her family...
One of the most desirable points in an ideal husband ; Dev has started working upon it... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

As to him calling Bijoy as Baba, well... That's really cute... Coz we never heard that word from his mouth... He didn't have a father to address... He called his own father as Papa... So, Baba is as adorable from his mouth, as it is to hear the first word out of a baby's mouth... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Richa, one thought that struck me... Dev made the first bond in the Bose House with Asha... Wasn't that natural? He has been so crowded by females in his life, that he almost knows how to woo women, even if it is his mother in law... ๐Ÿ˜†

But, my instinct says, he will make the best bond in the Bose House with Bijoy...
Once the anger subsides, and when Bijoy will see Dev without prejudice, Bijoy is going to highly adore Dev... They are going to be that kind of a father in law -son in law duo who will sit on a Saturday evening, discussing politics, news, sport and some man to man conversations...
Such bonding that when Dev reaches back home, would be changing into his nightwears, and Sonakshi probably getting ready for bed, he would casually smile and say - Bade hi kamaal ke hain Baba... Such a bunch of knowledge as well fun...

And at the same moment, Bijoy would be sipping a cup of late night tea with Asha and He would casually wipe his glasses with his kurta and say - Asha humari beti Sona hai... Aur usne heera chuna hai, heera... Dev ne pehle chaahe Jin bhi circumstances mein kiya ho, wo lekin Humari Shona se bohot pyaar karta hai... Kitna achha ladka hai... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Thanku ๐Ÿค—
Ha yar paper to sahi ho gaya ab result bhi sahi a jaye bas. Party to any day sweetheart๐Ÿ˜†

yes you are right generally most of the men doesn't connect with their in laws and every girl wants this quality in her husband. So dev is working on it and that's appreciable for sure

Same thought came across me it was like a baby calling baba for the first time awww๐Ÿค—

ya you are right again and our dev Babu has that charm to woo ladies be it his girlfriend or mil ๐Ÿ˜† in fact if you remember when he visited them for the first time on asha's birthday at that time asha was not so happy with him because of that khushal Roy thing but soon in minutes she was telling sona that he is not obhodro well that's the charm of dev dixit๐Ÿ˜‰

I also think that bonding between dev and bijoy will be the best and bijoy will always guide him whenever he will be in a fix.i always wanted to see their bonding as friendly father -son even I wrote an os on that if you have seen.
Awww so cute scenes you have wrote I wish we get such type of scenes in show also.that will be a treat to watch๐Ÿ˜ƒ
