Sharad Kelkar, who plays Nahar in Saat Phere, fell down in his house and ended up tearing his knee tissue. However, he is continuing to shoot for his show. We spoke to the injured Sharad to find out how he is managing things.
Reveals the actor, "My leg is completely in plaster from knee to toe. The doctor has advised me 3 weeks of complete bed rest. But I explained to him that I have to shoot for my show since it is a daily. Again, he told me that I can only shoot for 3-4 hours a day but that is not possible so I am shooting more than that."
Is the producing house helping him out? "Yes they are shooting my close up scenes. I cannot sit for too long and can't even bend so in between two scenes I have to go and lay in my van for some time."
And what about Kirti? "She is having her shoots so she cannot come with me all the time. Moreover, she was also down with viral fever so my driver is taking care of me now."
Kirti herself says, "It's very sad that Sharad and I are not in good health. We even have had to cancel our New Year plans. We were supposed to go to Goa but now our doctors have told us to take rest."
Abdul Karim, EP of Saat Phere adds, "Sharad is doing a great job despite all the pain. It was his decision to continue shooting and we are taking care of him as best as we can."
Here's wishing Sharad a speedy recovery!
