Ok, I am normally a silent reader (yes I am one of those) and have to say you guys have provide my great entertainment over the past few months on this forum so thanks!

Coming to the main topic, this show is starting to irritate me. I had hopes but I feel that I am being let down, not by the actors but by the CVs. There is a good story-line but I feel everything is so muddled up that it makes no sense. (I never knew a show could get me so riled up)

My main concern is Sumo's self-respect. Yes, she has her issues and so does Shravan and at times I do not agree with them and their actions but I guess that is justifiable because of their past and experiences which they are trying to overcome which is the point of the show. Fair enough.

The thing I do not like is the inconsistency in the Sumos' character. She talks about self-respect, yet every time Shravan says something hurtful, mean or rude and puts her down she still goes willingly back to him. Like he will say something bad and then do some small nice gesture and she is all happy again dreaming of kids and what not. Where does her self-respect go then? If they were to show a character who is stuck on her self-respect to an extent that it becomes a hurdle for her, then there are some serious character flaws going on here. I mean final line is you don't take shit from anyone (no matter how much they love you aka Shravan) that puts you down and she does. It really bugs me. I mean I get that you love the guy but please act in a sensible way.

Another thing I do not like is how they got married (though I am glad they got married because we might get some nice scenes😉). I mean what is wrong with her for even agreeing, like this is not time the time to get married when things are so cold between the two of them. He clearly says he hates the idea of them being together and she is like oh wait maybe this will be good if we are together. Like woman grab a hold of yourself! The lack of logic in this character, well there is none left now. And the main thing the show is based on Sumo's self-respect, well I am seeing none of that in the way she acts.

Though the story-line is going downhill for me, the actors have done a good job of keeping it up.

Sorry for the rant but had to get this off my chest.

Urm this is not meant to offend anyone, if it does sorry not my intention.

Thanks

If you observe closely this constant chant about "Self-respect"by suman started when Ramnath offered Sumo money in lieu of her staying away from Shravan.

I feel Sumo is not the kind of person that would break the father's reality to the son. So a lot of times when she is not able to explain to Shravan why she is refusing his help, she uses this umbrella of "self-respect".

As far as going back to Shravan,,,,deep down she knows him very well and what a good soul he is. She believes its his anger talking and not the Sumo ki Shravan.
