RaTri story: Tum bin...jaaun kahan..Last Part on page 17 - Page 2

This story is timed around one and a half month after the shootout of Bikram and chief going missing. Bikram was saved from that incident and had joined back around 2 weeks back. This is another fiction work of mine, hope you are with me through this one as well.

Raghav has gone back to his house after so many years where his dad was killed by vidushak in front of his eyes. Since so many years, he could never gather the courage to go back to that house, he had left from there immediately after that mishap. He has been struggling with his memories since then but today somehow he felt like going back to that house once again. He wanted to be close to his childhood memories, his dad's memories...he just wanted someone to come upto him and engage him in his arms so that he can bring out all the grief he had in his heart since a long time; so broken he was today.

He stopped his car in front of his house and went inside...he saw the house to be absolutely in a rugged state as no one comes there since such a long time. He opened the door which had almost got jammed due to the rusting. He went inside and saw numerous pigeons fly out from there, they had made their nests in this isolated location. Raghav had tears in his eyes and he went to his dad's cupboard. He opened it and started searching in the drawer, he found few pictures of his dad with himself which was totally covered with dust by now. He picked them up and removed the dust with his hand and clutched the pictures close to his heart and burst out crying. He could not control his tears today, he was absolutely shattered because of whatever happened with him over this last one month. He sat down on the floor and kept on crying for a long time, he was not at all in his own today. He didn't know how long he kept on crying. He heard his phone ringing and seeing it to be Rajbir's call, he picked it up wiping his tears.

Rajbir: hello Raghav, tum kahan ho?

Raghav: kahin nahi...(with a heavy voice)

Rajbir: tum theek to ho Raghav? you don't sound alright. Tum bataao tum kahan ho, main wahan aata hu...

Raghav: nahi Rajbir, main theek hu, tum bataao kaise call kiya tumne? He still had tears in his eyes but he tried to compose himself realising that Rajbir was able to judge his state of mind with his voice.

Rajbir: maine tumhe yeh yaad dilane ke liye call kiya hai ki kal Trisha ki shaadi hai, tum chaloge na? uske baad to humari team disperse hone hi waali hai, this is the last time we all can have some time together.

Raghav: haan Rajbir mujhe yaad hai, main time par pahunch jaaunga, you don't worry... after this he cancelled the call and again started howling. He was so heartbroken, he didn't know what to do now.

He reconciled himself after a long time and somehow managed to drive back home. He was so disturbed that he took a heavy binge of alcohol that night and slept off under its effect when he became totally drunk. Next morning he woke up late in the afternoon and seeing the calendar, he recollected that today it was Trisha's wedding day. He was not able to accept the fact that Trisha was getting married to someone else, how could she do this to me, he thought. He was just not able to bear this burden on his heart and he again went back to drinking. He didn't know when he again drifted into his slumber. He woke up in the evening due to the ringing of his phone bell, Bikram had called him to ask about his whereabouts, all of them were waiting for him at Trisha's residence. He got up and went towards Trisha's house in the same drunken state.

Trisha's residence

Trisha was sitting in her room dressed up as a bride, lost somewhere in her thoughts. She saw Raghav coming inside her room. He was finding it difficult to maintain his balance. She understood that he is drunk even today (she knew he had been drinking since the day of that shootout and more so after whatever happened between them).

Trisha: Raghav yeh kya haal bana rakha hai? you are drunk today also? Aise shaadi mein koi aata hai kya?

Raghav: yes boss I'm drunk...kya karu aaj aapki shaadi hai to mujhse party kiye bina raha nahi gaya...main aapko aapki shaadi ka tohfa dena chahta hu...and he came close to her.

Trisha became anxious as she saw him come so close to her and she started looking here and there. He came closer and suddenly she realized that he had slapped her hard. She was shocked at this sudden rage from him and wanted to talk to him but he immediately turned around and started moving out. He hit a table on the way and was about to fell down but he somehow managed to maintain his balance. Trisha saw this and ran to him to prevent him from falling and held his hand.

Trisha: sambhal ke Raghav... tumhe lag jati to...

Raghav: thanks boss but aapko meri chinta karne ki zaroorat nahi hai...you please enjoy your wedding and...and have a great life ahead...and he went out of her room.

She saw the entire cbi team standing outside her room and all of them were surprised to see whatever they had just now seen.

Trisha had tears in her eyes and told all 3 of them to go with Raghav. He needed their support and she told them to be with him and provide him with moral support. All of them did as she had told them, although they didn't know the reason for such a behaviour from Raghav. They always looked up to him as a very mature person who does not do anything without a reason, but today they failed to understand the reason for this reaction. They saw him going towards his car and he was finding it difficult to maintain his balance due to alcohol effect. They made him sit on the back seat despite his resistance and Rajbir drove his car to his home. He slept in the car on the way back and he was repeatedly calling out Trisha's name in his drowsy state. They realised that there is definitely something related to Trisha which was disturbing him, they made him lie down on his bed and they decided that Rajbir would stay with him during the night and others would go back to their homes.

He regained his senses late in the morning and when he opened his eyes he saw Rajbir in front of him.

Rajbir: ab kaisa lag raha hai Raghav?

Raghav: mera sar dard ho raha hai, lekin tum yahan kaise?

Rajbir told him what had happened yesterday night and he felt ashamed at whatever he did with Trisha. After all it is her life and she has all the right to decide for herself. I shouldn't have behaved like this, he thought. Rajbir saw him so guilty and decided to talk to him right now. He wanted to know what was it that was disturbing him so much and what had gone wrong between him and Trisha. Raghav was not ready to talk about anything but when Rajbir insisted on him knowing about the problems between both of them, he decided to tell him the truth.

Sorry everyone for being so late...I've written after a long long time and i really don't know whether i could do it well again... I haven't gone through it again even myself as I feared that then I won't be able to post it...so I just wrote it and now i'm posting...So i'm sorry for any mistakes (which are bound to be there) in advance... Thanks a lot everyone for being with me...always...and this time it is a short part and next one would be longer...I suppose...(PLEASE don't ask me what happened to me...I won't be able to explain)
