His earlier movies had strong actresses. Recent ones doesn't help the heroines much.

He doesn't need to. As long as he's performing everybody is concerned about themselves.

His movies try to show that men rule, men are everything and only men can be heroes and so obviously no place or strong role for women in it.

Amir/SRK movies give respectable roles to heroines.

I have always been impressed with how Salman has risen from the challenges in his life be it personal professional or health wise. his rise has been a very calculated move/strategy that has given him the sort of stardom where as an audience i think we as fans( his fans) are very dependent on seeing him in 90 percent of the movie entertaining us it literally does not matter who is there next to him. that is why something as horribly produced as a jai ho can do over a 100 cr but a Fan which is actually a good movie can't. the reason for this is the sort of 1 hero-ship movie that he does be it a Wanted, dabangg the movie is riding on Salman the star.
unfortunately when salman went through his bad phase he did not have a kjo, yash raj to help him. he worked with new directors, a lot of new stars and his movies being copies of south movies is very hero orientated. when a female is in a yash raj movie or a kjo movie moat times they have proper roles writen for them coZ its original scripts. the same cannot be said about a copy of the sort of south movies that salman has done. but u can correct be if i wrong but i have never heard of salman cutting his female leads screen time to maximise his screen time but we all have heard that aamir cuts his leads screen time and want maximum exposure and thought being put into his character. there is a diff btw choosing a script that shows of your best and changing a script coz u insecure of others. i dislike kkk but BB has made me a fan of her. and whoever i have spoken to ab her role in the movie has been full of praise of her. in terms of screen time it is short but i dnt think her role can ever be the thought of as a flower pot role coz of how well she acted. but whether it did anything for her i am not sure. and then there is anuksha in Sultan she had a very good role in that movie she acted relative well but for me something is missing from her as an actor. also her character was controversial coz of how it was written can Salman really be blamed for the question mark against her as a power house actress or her poorly written character or that she even with a relatively well written character she could not leave an impact. as for sonam, salman did not even want to work with her. she is a poor actress bt with her breaking hip dance move she was noticed it ain't salman's fault that she can not act. only actress i feel bad for is Jacky i like her i think she should have been given a meaty role in kick but was not. oh and lastly sonakshi the number 1 flower pot who acted in 2 movies with salman and the rest with other successful heros and acted properly in one or 2 movies and then realised she needed to act after how many year. she had a great start to her career bt never capitalized on it. i think even in jai ho that daisy had a proper role in the movie but the audience rejected. i think with his next few movies that his female leads will get good roles. but his movies the directors, producers are writing scripts with him specifically in mind and they not doing this for his females counterparts and that's there fault. salman is not a writer he only gives input where he can coz of his years of experience in the industry. i saw fans mention talash and how strong both rani's and kkks role was but even then what did that movie do for them its still remembered as an aamir movie. pk and anu biggest hit but what did it do for anu? nothing. kat acted with aamir and it started her downfall. i think for me the reason for this is the current actresses dnt have a 10th
of the talent of the 90s actresses they had The ability to make even flowerpot roles memorable bt not these ones and thats the reason they will never match him and until we have proper actress's paired him, his movies wnt do much for them.
