What is the relevance of Geeta today?

The Gita can never lose its relevance, irrespective of what Yuga we live in.

All that He says, everything, is as relevant today as it was in Dwapar, when He spoke them to Arjuna.

He talks of Dharma and Karma, and as you rightly pointed out, Dharma and Karma converging is where ultimately one should want to be.

Okay, so what are significance of using certain numbers during religious ceremonies?
Like for an aarti we need to make the circle 3/5/7... times?

Also, why does a number keep repeating itself in the texts?
Like, in MB it's like Krishna is the 8th avatar of Vishnu born as the eighth son, on the eight day of Shravan (Bhadra, in the Bengali calendar)
Then, MB itself has 18 parvas, Geeta has 18 adhyayas and the Battle lasted 18 days.

And also the repetition of 108 in various contexts?

I'd be glad if anyone could help out?
