Ch 37 : Anything For You
By the time movie ended, she was snuggle up in his arms while he adored her. Taani looked up, her eyes curved into a shy smile noticing the close proximity to him. As her conscious mind commanded her to pull away, she tried moving away from him but he tighten his hold around and pulled her back in his arms.
"Where are you going? Stay here." He murmured softly. He rested his chin on her head.
"What do you wanna do now?" Rey asked her.
"I have something for you." Taani mumbled, she reached the pocket of her denim jeans and pulled out a piece of paper before she handed it over to him. His brows knitted in confusion.
"When we were in goa, i said i m going to punish you for troubling me with your behavior, this is part of it. You have to do all this mentioned in the list for me." Taani explained him, Rey smiled when he remembered their confession in restaurant.
"I'll do anything for you." Rey mumbled, he dropped a sweet peck on her head, as he unfolded the paper and started reading. He had an amusing grin on his face when he read the 5 things she want him to do for her, penned down on the paper.
"I will do everything you want." Rey announced, he folded the paper and kept it in his pocket.
"But its time for lunch. Lets go." Rey said to her. Taani nodded, they got up and come out of the room. Rey led her to the dinning area.
"So you have done all the preparations already for our date? I am impressed." Taani smiled at him softly, a touched at the gestures of his to make their first date special.
"Well its our first date. I have to be prepared." He answered, He pulled out a chair for her. Taani thanked him and sat on the chair. He took his seat beside hers.
"Shahi paneer, butter naan, Rajma-chawal...Um..Someone knows how to please a woman." Taani passed a teasing smile to him.
"I got to know from Ronak about your favorite dishes and these are some of them." Rey murmured, he chuckled remembering the long list of her favorite food items which he had memorized, credit his sharp memory.
"I have got a foodie girlfriend." Rey added with a small laugh.
"Is it a bad thing?" She frowned, as she questioned him, feeling conscious suddenly.
"What? Of course not! On serious note, I am glad you are not one of those girls who starve themselves in the name of dieting." Rey answered her with honesty.
"Good you don't have any problem with my eating habits, i wouldn't have changed them for you. Food is my life." Taani joked, she giggled softly.
"I will never want you change anything about yourself just to please me." Rey replied in serious tone, making her smile at the perfection he shows at every step of life. He is a perfect son, perfect friend, perfect human being and now a perfect boyfriend.
"Lets start the lunch. I can't control myself anymore." Taani clapped her hands, her eyes shinning in happiness. Rey let out a chuckle at her antics.
Rey served her the food then himself.
"So tell me something about yourself which i don't know." Rey started off the conversation.
"What do you wanna know?" Taani asked him, as she ate spoonful of rice mixed with curry.
"About your life in jodhpur. How was it?" Rey asked her, genuinely curious to know more about her. He wants to be the one she share everything about herself, before her boyfriend, he wants to be her friend first with whom she can share her every sorrow and happiness. He wants to build their relation on trust, friendship, love and understanding.
"My life in jodhpur? Well, we have a palace like big house there and i am princess of that house. Everyone loves me and pamper me since i am the youngest and mom doesn't like it sometimes, she thinks they are spoiling me with their love but my dad & brother ignore her there. I have few good friends there and i used to spend most of the time with them, roaming around and having fun. My life was pretty awesome there. I never faced any hardship of life, to be honest. My dad and brothers give me everything before i even wish for. You can say, I have pretty perfect life anyone can wish for." Taani told him about of her life in jodhpur, a cheeky grin was playing on her lips.
"Wow!" Rey, who was listening to her, was pleasantly amused to know about her life.
"I am not just a princess for namesake, my daddy & brother treats me like one." Taani grinned ear to ear.
"Taani, you always talk about your daddy and brother, Ron, you are pretty close to them. Hows your equation with swayum?" Rey asked her since he had noticed how much she speaks about her father & ronak who spoil her with their undivided attention and love, but she hardly speak about her equation with her elder brother swayum.
"My equation with bhai is good, but we are not that close like i am to Ronak since bhai is always with his stuff, we hardly get time to sit and talk to each other. We weren't like this since childhood but ever since bhai had moved here in mumbai, there is an invisible distance between us, but i understand he has his own priorities and life." Taani gave a small smile at the end.
"Yea! He has his plate full. Wooing sharon is one difficult task." Rey let out a chuckle, taani giggled softly. And they enjoyed their rest of the lunch with light, random talks, getting to know each other better.
