Milaksh, nice ending and you ended the story in such pious and with dignity. Good that you gave only lakshmila & ram in this chapter and ended the story with high notes. Things change, appearance changes and so is the age but the love and affection and trust are the factors which also grow along with age and multiplies with the distance. Yes there is say "out of sight is out of mind" but that is valid only for the external force and not for the couples or the family. But yes, it is true that we face hindrance to begin with thinking which move we should take first or what if things have changed but deep down we know that its grown and boundless.
