The Dream Team of Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Badshaah and Katrina Kaif recently returned from a successful run in USA. Buzz is that the original shows were to have Salman Khan. Says a source, "Salman and Shah Rukh Khan are huge all over the world so last year some wealthy show promoters came to sign Salman for a month-long tour of USA earlier this year. But the star couldn't be a part of the shows as he was busy with Tubelight and other commitments. It was then that his manager Reshma Shetty came up with the idea of getting together with the promoters and presenting them with a new-age group of stars in an impressive package. The Dream Team was helmed by another of Shetty's clients Karan Johar. That's how the three-week-long tour of the USA took place."

Khan knows a thing or two about maintaining relationships. So, although he has signed up for the satellite rights of all his films with the star network, he has made a exception for Sultan because his friend and producer Aditya Chopra asked him to do so. So Sultan whenever it airs on TV, will be seen on the Sony network.
