Toshiji was talking to ishita's parent when she got a call from the school ,she received it and was worried hearing to the call.
Toshiji- I am coming,saying so she hung the call and was going saying bye to her parents when madhu asked- what happened, is everything fine.
Toshiji- don't know exactly but Raman twisted hand of a boy and his bone dislocated. Now parents of that boy want Raman to be suspended from school.so they called me,I dont know what happened but Raman never have become violent and moreover he is not coming to the office,he is sitting in the first aid room.pata nahi kya hua hai.I have to go,bye.saying so she was going when madhu said - wait hum bhi chalte hai,ho sakta hai kuch serious ho.chalo vishwa.
Appa- let's go.
Soon all three were going to their school.Toshiji was hell worried for Raman while madhu was consoling her constantly.
Madhu- don't worry santoshi,everything will be fine.there must be a reason why Raman twisted hand of that boy.
Toshiji- I just hope everything is fine madhu.Raman is a very calm kid,he never ever hurt anyone.hamesha sirf khud ko takleef deta hai,don't know under what circumstances he took this step.kahin woh log mere bachche ko rustricate naa kar de.she was saying worriedly.
Appa- relax toshiji,we will not let anyone harm Raman and his future.let us reach.he said and continued to drive.
Soon they reach school only to hear a fat lady in salwar suit shouting on top of her voice.
Lady- I don't know anything.I want that boy rusticated now.aur agar aapne aisa nahi kiya toh main court mein jaaungi aur uss ladke ko phaansi chadwaungi.how dare he touch my son.she said hugging her son who was sitting there with his bandaged broken hand.
Principal- stop overreacting lady,I have called his mom ,let her come then we will decide.
Lady- decide kya decide karna hai,u r rusticating him and that's all.
She was talking when appa,amma and toshiji entered the office.
Principal- good that u came,but who r u,he asked pointing at Mr and Mrs iyer.
Mr iyer- we r also his guardian. Tell us what he did.
Lady- woh kya bateyega,main batati hoon.aapke puttar ne mere puttar ka haath tod dala.bechara mera puttar chup chap baitha tha aur uss kamine ne,
Mr iyer- mind ur language, u r talking about my boy, I will not tolerate any rubbish against him.
Lady- ohho ji,u can't even tolerate a word against him and he broke my son's hand,what about this.
Toshiji- where is Raman.I will ask him ,why he did so.
Lady- lafanga hai ek number ka iss liye kiya aur kya.
Mr iyer- am warning u,one more time u badmouth about him.I will not listen a word and make ur son rusticated, and trust me,I can do that.he said glaring at her,scaring her to wits.
Principal- he is sitting in the first aid room.I have sent a poen to call him but he simply denied.
Mr iyer- why first aid room.is he got hurt.
Principal- no idea.
Mr iyer- then instead of fighting here,we should go and see why he is sitting there after twisting his hand.
Lady- we will not go anywhere. I just want rustication of this boy.that boy is dangerous, she was telling but stop in mid seeing mr iyer's glare.
Mr iyer- I think we should proceed towards first aid room.he said and all went to first aid room.
They entered the room and saw Raman sitting on the chair,his shirt has some blood spots making Mrs bhalla scared.she ran to Raman and said r u OK Raman.
Raman- I am fine maa.
Toshiji- then this blood spots.
Raman- maa woh gudiya.
Toshiji was scared hearing this and asked- kya hua ishita ko.making Mr and Mrs iyer alert.
Mr iyer- what happened to ishu.
Raman- uncle he pushed her and she got hurt in her forehead from the corner of the desk.uske sar se kitna khoon nikal raha tha maa.and he was smiling so I twisted his hand.woh kitni choti hai maa,phir bhi woh usse chot pahuncha ke hans raha tha,usse kuch ho jaata toh.he said making an angry face.
Madhu- kahan hai meri ishu.she asked worriedly.
Raman- she is inside the room.I am waiting for her.woh nurse aunty uska bandage kar rahi hai.he said and her parents ran to see her.
She was sitting on the chair and crying while the nurse was trying to bandage her wound.madhu ran to her saying ishu.
Ishita look at her parents and hug madhu tight and start crying bitterly.
Madhu hugged her tight and said- naa kanna don't cry everything will be fine.
Ishita- amma bahut dard kar raha hai.she said crying.
Appa came and hugged her tight while the nurse was bandaging her wound.Raman was sneaking from the curtain and thinking- her Papa is so good.he loves her alot.kaash mere Papa bhi aise hote.
Nurse bandaged her wound and give her pain killer.appa picked her in his as and she cocooned in his arms and slept under the effect of medicine.he took her out and said- see what ur so called puttar has done.how dare he touched my daughter.
Boy- he is lying sir ,Maine kuch nahi kiya. Raman himself hurt me and ishita.woh toh hai hi pagal.he always behave badly with ishita.that day when she came to our class to distribute chocolate, that day also he shouted on her.today also he was shouting on her unnecessarily,when I went to him and said ,don't shout on her,she is too small but he didn't listen to me and twisted my hand and when ishita was stopping h,he pushed her also making her hurt.
Raman- no uncle he is lying.I didn't hurt her,he pushed her.I accept that I twisted his hand but only because he pushed her.yeh jhooth bol raha hai.
Lady- mera beta teri tarah lafanga nahi hai.he is from a well cultured family.tumhari toh koi family hi nahi hai.baap hai joh chod kar chala gaya,don't know whether u have any father or u r just a illegitimate child of someone.pata nahi kiska paap hai.she said looking at Raman making him and toshiji weep.
Raman don't know how to react,the lady was bad-mouthing about them and he was just looking down.his eyes got filled and tears were about to fall from his eyes but he wipes them and was standing keeping his head down while toshiji start crying seeing the plight of her son.she cursed her husband again to make Raman's life horrible.the hurt ,the pain he was going through was evident from his face.he don't have courage to say anything or defend himself after hearing those bitter words,he don't even know how Mr iyer was going to react listening those words,he just want to ran away and hide himself from this world. He was about to ran from there not able to hear any more crap when Mr iyer hold his hand and said- enough of ur crap.main sun raha hoon it doesn't mean that I will tolerate ur crap.how dare u utter such nonsense about Raman.I know him ,he can't harm ishita.mr iyer said holding Raman's hand firmly.
Raman was surprised beyond words seeing his trust on him.
Mr iyer- just because ur husband is with u.u don't get a right to comment upon someone's personal life.koi kis takleef se guzar raha hai,u can't imagine maam.never make fun of someone's pain,who knows Jo inka aaj hai woh aapka kal ho jaaye.
Lady- how dare u utter such rubbish .
Mr iyer- like the way u r uttering rubbish about this boy.u know I don't know who is at fault.but I am sure about one thing that Raman can never harm my daughter.and I will not let anyone harm Raman,as he is like my son.so it's my last warning to u and ur son,stay away from my kids.saying so he was going but turn back and said- I will get to know about the truth once ishita wake up.and I promise u if it is ur sons fault then noone can save him from me.saying so he turn to the principal and said- I am taking my kids home,will come back to u after knowing the whole truth.and will make u punish the culprit.saying so he came out of the first aid room holding Raman's hand with one hand and holding sleeping ishita in other hand while raman was just looking at him.the way he protected him today,noone ever protected him .toshiji and madhu was looking at Mr iyer.toshiji with gratitude while madhu with pride.
Mr iyer made ishita lay on the back seat ,while madhu went to take her bag from the class.Raman start walking away from them.
Toshiji- where u r going.let's go home.
Raman- nahi maa,aap jao.I will come later.he said and before toshiji can answer he ran from there.
Toshiji try to go after him but Mr iyer stopped her.madhu came taking ishita's bag.
Mr iyer- madhu u take ishu home.I am going after Raman.he need someone to pour his pain.
Toshiji- mera bachcha ,apne baap ke kiye ki saza bhugat raha hai.she said crying while appa went behind Raman.he went to the nearby park where Raman ran to.he searched all over the park but couldn't get him.he was going but saw him sitting in the farthest corner of the park on the ground hiding behind the big banyan tree.he went closer only to hear his hiccups.appa felt bad thinking about his pain.he went near him and sat beside Raman on the ground. Seeing him Raman immediately wiped his tears and said uncle aap yahan.
Appa- why u r crying kanna.
Raman- main??nahi toh.why I will cry.mujhe bura nahi lagaa,mujhe bura nahi lagta.kyun lage,she was not wrong.but my Papa left me and maa alone.he said and a tear fell off his eyes.
Appa put his hand on his shoulder.
Raman- main nahi ro raha,sach mein.rone se kya hoga,woh wapas nahi aane wale.why he left us uncle, hum itne bure the kya.why he don't love me,meri kya galti hai.he said trying hard to stop his tears but it was flowing freely,he was wiping it again and again but his eyes were filling again and again.
Appa couldn't answer his innocent questions and just hug him to his heart making him cry freely.he was hugging Raman tight and was caressing his back lovingly.at first Raman was not reacting but soon he started crying bitterly in his arms.appa let him cry .he was just caressing his back,consoling him while raman was just crying saying ,Papa kyun chod kar chale gaye uncle.the pain he has stores in him was finally releasing and lessening.
