No, on the contrary, it is now Sona's turn to be butchered! We went through Ishwari tantrums, Dev's senseless rejection of Sona and now Sona's turn to make a mockery of so called genuine love.. Heck, this is way beyond my heart and mind.

And then this new guy, whatever his name is, has no charm and the way he talks as if he has got such an important role in the show... Give me a break!

I think, Ishwari should commit suicide, Dev turn to an alcoholic and go back to the street, and Sona settle down with this bong guy who we are told is bringing happiness back in Sona's life.

Well I can't argue with that. The creatives have messed up all the characters post the 100th episode mark. It is like they partied too hard to celebrate 100 episodes and their brains were somehow addled. 😊

Well almost evryone mentioned Ishwari, I feel no one can sympathise with her anymore, she has crossed limits. She sees how happy Dev is to know Ish likes Sona, feels guilty of being a bad mother. And the next morning she is back to taunting Sona that its btr for everyone this way. Atleast show some genuine concern for Dev, this fellow was mad in happiness last night abt Sona and they are now broken up next morning. Do you really believe the incompatible reason given by Dev or it is to please your mind that Dev is fine n everything will back to the way it was.

I know, it is quite ridiculous. They seem to have forgotten how nicely Ish counseled Sona when Kushal's rishtaa did not come through. Where has that sensitive Ish gone?

I cried with Dev as well but I just couldnt correlate his reactions during the break up and the next day. Why was he so rude, insensitive to Sona? I think he knows her well enuf now that this wud crush Sona real bad. I understand he wanted to part ways, a normal intense conversation was needed, not this accusatory, hurtful. It wud have seemed btr if he wud hav cried infront of Sona in hospital asking her forgiveness. The next day also he didnt ask her how she was doing...n a sorry was badly needed in the phone convo.

Now that they have abandoned realism for drama, this is what we can expect. By making him behave like a jerk they created a reason for a redemption. In recent times Dev and Sona have been so gentle with each other. After the accident track, Dev has always been so mindful of her feelings. If they were attempting to show a realistic parting it would have been appropriate to show it the way you outlined above but drama is what they want to show...

And Sona..well I happy with her lately but if she agrees to marry Ritwik happily then I will be super sad. The marriage proposal, Ritwik, friendship is happening way too fast.

Hmm..we have to see how they bring it in. They are determined to give the audience an intense and pining Dev. Seeing Sona with another guy will add to the fun for them and for some of us
(yes, I am shallow that way I admit it)
😃. As long as they show Sona in character, I will be ok.

Maybe the creatives can focus on Neha Ranveer for a while to show sufficient time has passes to justify rishta track

You always manage to speak what I'm thinking!! I was thinking the same exact thing. Yesterday a lot of our forum members had tears in their eyes after watching Dev and Sona cry miserably. But I was sitting there fuming at Ishwari. Her nonsensical behaviour is taking the focus away from my fav couple and it's getting on my nerves now. She has reached the point of no return for me. No matter what she does, how much she repents I don't think I can ever find myself to have the same respect I had for her in the initial episodes.
The CVs are making Shaheer potray such intense expressions so that the audience starts sympathising with Dev, and it's working. The whole forum's hearts are collectively melting watching Dev be miserable. But I would still need some more convincing before I can truly manage to forget the injustice done to Dev's character by the CVs. The 2 break up episodes shook me up. Even though I've had a lot of complaints with Dev I never expected him to have the reaction he had while breaking up. Him silencing her to talk softly as she tried to come to terms with what was happening was the most difficult moment for me to watch.
I guess the jealousy track and some more yearning for Sonakshi would probably help me sympathize with him more than I do currently.

Malvika, that silencing part..I wanted to throw something on his face seriously. My mother was more angry than me when he did that. He had 0 sympathy/emotions for her during the breakup scene. They made it so cruel and bitter. His breakdown made me feel bad for him. So I rewatched the episode just to keep my anger intact. They are taking full advantage of Shaheer to make the viewers sympathize with him. His reactions in the breakup scene and the breakdown scenes were poles apart confusing the viewers I still have not come to terms with his cruel behavior.

But all said and done, If he realizes what he has done and we see a strong redemption from his side, he deserves one chance.

There is no point of return for Ishwari. Have lost all hopes in her. It is becoming more and more difficult to watch the show because of her.

So true. They cannot have it both ways. The writer's interview gave us a hint that they do not see her as someone who needs psychological intervention. They want us to sympathize with her because of her back story and understand the reason for her insecurity. Then they should have worked harder on their script and character sketch.

They are forgetting that no matter what back story they show and how uncombed Ish's hair looks in her flashbacks, most viewers will not fall for it. Everyone has enough experience of mother-son relationships and can apply their own common sense to call a spade a spade i.e term this as dysfunctional/illogical/poorly written/plain annoying

Bang on👏👏

You're so right rasika. Even I do that. whenever I feel my heart melting for Dev i rewatch the break up episode to remind myself why I was angry in the first place.
It's mostly shaheer's charm that's helping us sympathize with Dev. I guess the ritwik track and Sonakshi moving on will get many viewers on Dev's side. But I still feel it's necessary. Devakshi always needs a big jhatka to realize the importance of things in his life. So if he does repent enough, he deserves another chance. After all, he does love her. Truly. He just makes some really bad decisions sometimes!

Yes its necessary for him to realize things. He truly loves her no doubt but he has to act on his mistakes. Just sulking won't help. This jealousy track is important. Though I still feel the marriage track is been rushed, I mean I don't think Sona can move on so easily. We need to wait for the episode to see what's going on in her mind. This separation will strengthen their love for sure.😳
