I hope and also think that there maybe a tiny 1-2 month leap shown (like the 1 week leap they showed before Neha's wedding). My reasoning is below-

1. It will take time for Sona to get a new job, after which Dev goes to warn her boss. When Sona came to Dev's office to scream at him, he looked at her with so much affection, so it means that he hasn't seen/heard her since a while.

2.Ishwari (if any little sense remains in her) will not look for rishtas within 2-3 days (I hope!)

3.Sona will take time to even agree to meet the new guy for a rishta.

4.Even in a real life break up, it takes at least a week to put yourself together and understand what is happening.

Now that you mention it, I think a leap would actually be a good idea in the show

Yup I thought the same..just thru someone's dialogue they will mention how 2-3 months hav passed. Atleast I hope they do. Bose family is sensible one, they shudnt force marriage so soon.

A small leap is needed otherwise it's pointless to show how much they loved...because for sure it will take some time to forget or come out of the traumaaa..
