Not so chubby cheeks
Maybe a dimpled chin
Definitely rosy lips
Several teeth within
Iron-straight-hair
Pan-caked fair
Eyes lensed gray
Lovely? Nay…
Armaan's pet
Is that you???
No…no…no…
As I rocked my son to sleep tonight and sang to him popular rhymes as I usually do, I couldn't help but be struck by the otherwise lovely version of the afore mentioned verse. And in an episode marked by dialogues scattered few and far between, the one line that irked the sensibilities of most would have been Dear Doctor Ridhima's.
Ok, so you are pretty, you may even be smart and yes Armaan may have given you sufficient hints that he was taken in by you (all of which you chose either to ignore or to conveniently forget). Where did you peg this apparent desire to win so desperately so he could kiss you? Not condoning the not-so-fair methods to win, it's not like you gals played fair either. Anjali played on Atul's feelings, didn't see you scream foul there…Anjali touched Mr. Brahmachari, didn't see you attribute any ulterior motive there. It's a game and people play to win and you both cheated. Now why would you assume that the prize for victory for the boys was so desirable? Is it because it's you? Where do you get off thinking that you are God's gift to mankind? Here's a rude shock…Armaan didn't even seem vaguely interested in your lips. Even after he had won, he felt no ambiguity as he fought off his encouraging friends.
Methinks Ridhima, you've missed the train and that you should stop assuming the train's still waiting for you. It's your turn now to chase after the train chugging away without you aboard!!!
