Dear All, yesterday while discussing the episode with my gang at the ATs, I came up with a small analysis on Omkara Singh Oberoi, and I want to share the same with you all
If a person looks at Omkara for the first time, they would think that he is being governed in the relations that he is in. But the instances o yesterday made me think the other way, he is being governed, dominated only because he is allowing the other person, he has a strict framework, limit and terms & condition for each relation and would not mind till the other person is dominating him within that, but if they dare go out, they see a different OSO.
We had been saying that Riddhima uses Omkara and so forth, but as we saw yesterday, the moment he realized that she had lied to him, he immediately confronted her and did not even let her explain her points, he is very sure that he had already clarified that the relation shall be based on the trust and truth and if that is not being followed, then the other person has no justification, he would have been fine had she said that she has to go somewhere but she can not reveal where, but a lie can not and would not be tolerated
Coming to OmRu, I had always felt that Rudra takes Omkara for granted and does whatever he wants with him, (like blaming him for his own faults, taking his stuff to gift his gfs etc.) although he would not dare to do any such thing with Shivaaye, but after watching yesterday's episode, I felt that it is just the reverse, Rudra knows that he has some liberty in Omkara's life and he can use that liberty, but he can not even dare to cross that. Whenever Shivaaye scolds Rudra for something, he just gets quite for a couple of seconds, but then comes up with the same line after that, however when yesterday Omkara just did mildly scold him asked him to shut up, he got quite and did not open his mouth till the entire discussion of Shivkara got over. Even during Shivaaye back post the chopper clash, he was asking Shivaaye as to how he made this escape, but Omkara said, "Wo baad mein" and asked something else, and Rudra although not happy on this just stood quite without a word. Also you might note that while Rudra is very vocal about his dislike for Tia (and Robin), he has not spoken a word against Riddhima, although Riddhima is as snobbish and over enthusiastic, she was actually hitting the foot on the floor while asking Shivaaye to say Anika a thankyou
Also it might be noted that we have ShivKara teasing and mocking Rudra to the extreme and OmRu teasing Shivaaye to irritation, but hardly do we get ShivRu teasing Omkara, the only time they tried that was when they got to know that the name of the new girl he has met is Bela, and even then he got them shut up by uttering just one word "Funny", while the other two could be mocked to the extremes he can not be
Not just this if we look into Shivkara relation, many times he has come to Shivaaye to confront for the things that the latter has done something which is wrong in the eyes of Omkara, whether or not Shivaaye is willing to discuss that he makes sure that they do discuss, but this is not the case with Omkara, if you remember when during Jahnavi and Pinky fight, Pinky had told about Omkara's drug past and he was broken, Shivaaye came to speak to him, but at that time, he did not want to talk, and however hard Shivaaye wanted to say or discuss something, Omkara just switched off the light and indicated him to leave
In other words, Omkara makes sure that the discussions or topics which he does not like do not happen in his vicinity and the topics and discussions he want has to be discussed, whether or not the other person wants it. He makes sure that in all the relations that he is a part of he has the upper hand
This actually makes me feel that the continuous tonts of Shivaaye "Bade Bhaiyya" to Omkara has actually something to do with their childhood when Omkara and not Shivaaye was the dominating one in the trio, later he slowly learnt to channelize his anger. I now feel that his playing the second fiddle to Shivaaye was his decision and not vice versa.
