very good analysis.. i too have been noticing om & also noticing the points you have mentioned. he is one character which has me watching the serial after Mohan of NBT.

As someone said above Omkara is a man of contradictions.I

i wud like to add how he is very judgemental and at the same time non judgemental too and looks at things from other's POV. eg. you see how he handles ridhhima lie issue and is immediately judging her whereas at the same time reg Anika not saying her surname he tries to reason out with shivaay how maybe it could be her confidence. He also never believed that it was anika who leaked the video chip. He has his own set principles & yes one thing i have noticed is that he wants everyone to think like him, at the same time if he tries to see someone & understand from their POV he can also be highly accepting too.The reason could be that inspite of having solid principles in his life due to circumstances he himself has walked the dark path. you see he was affected when ishana told him how people like her needed to con & lie to people because of their circumstances.

He is also very emphatic, empathy is what drew him towards Bela. he is generally a good reader of people but with Bela he culd not see thru her as his empathy towards her made him blind.

Also if u notice it is always Om who scolds Rudra for his<font size="2">flirtatious</font>behavior and it is shivaay who lets him do wrong things while om sets him on the right path. eg was shivaay asking rudra to give his credit card to soumya in return for hurting her & om taking offence to it.

Also if you notice Om cannot hear a single word against shivaay from anyone whereas he is the first one to reason or argue with him if shivaay does anything which is not according to what Om thinks is right.
