I missed a lot of episodes of the show in between, so please excuse me if I left out anything. I understand that for this show to continue the creatives have to introduce conflict between the two leads, but the conflict has to be such that it is believable and the stakes have to be high. If they opt for a misunderstanding, then it has to be such that it is on both sides - Shravan and Suman. But I think the CV's didn't layout the conflict properly. They set it up, so that as the audience we are frustrated by the characters.
They used Ramnath as the person for the conflict. He blackmails Suman to stay away from Shravan, which shouldn't really work, because it is one sided. Even with blackmail Suman is aware of Shravan's feelings for her, so she can still confess, and leave Shravan to handle his father. But in the show she chooses not to confess, and as the audience you expect Shravan can still find a way confess, except he doesn't. The first time Shravan tries to confess Suman brings Nirmala and he is upset. Then he tries to confess again, but she brushes him off and avoids meeting him. Which leads him to wait, and in the meantime they continue to bicker over the marriage arrangements. Shravan keeps getting sidetracked by minor things such as Suman not showing up for the meeting or their arguments over Preeti and Puskar's wedding and keeps listening to Ramnath's superficial words. While Suman continues to wait for him to confess due to Ramnath's blackmail. Her reasons are to an extent understandable, but she can find a way to drop hints. Instead she spends most of her time arguing with him. And when he is trying to help her she treats him quite rudely.
The conflict in this show is one of those conflicts that can be sorted out through one conversation. I do think adding Aditya to the equation has created a bigger mess, but considering Shravan and Suman are childhood friends there should be enough trust and faith in them for them to count on each other. It is simply not believable for Aditya to enter the equation and for Shravan to give up on Suman so soon. While the CV's have shown ego in both Shravan and Suman as the internal conflict. They both tend to get egoistic over little things arguing over Pushkar & Preeti's marriage arrangements, making him wait etc etc and these are not sufficient reasons for them not to confess their feelings for one another. Another part the show does not address is Shravan's ability to decipher Suman's feelings for him. In reality, when two people love each other both have a fair idea of the other's feelings before the actual confession, while Suman knows that he loves her I'm not sure if Shravan has a fair idea of exactly what she feels and if he has an idea, then he has simply no excuse not to confess.
For two people in love these two have a long way to go in terms of trusting one other. They both tend to easily misunderstand each other and get rattled over little things. It might be a good idea, if CV's do not rush them into marriage, and build up enough scenes for them to slowly trust and understand one another. At this point in time if these two get married they will need therapy for the marriage to last.
