I know what you mean. I genuinely have a massive thing for Jesse Eissenberg and I totally think of him as my husband, but obviously that won't be happening anytime soon. 😆

The CV's have handled her character development bad. But it's logical that she wants to get Riddhima out of the way as she needs to get her own place in his life. She's doing this all for her family. She has no powerful emotional connection to Om to make her really start reconsidering her decision to deceive him. She feels guilty and does acknowledge that he is a good and honest person who feels pain in great depth but she needs the money to save her family. Once she starts getting close to Om I think she'll feel guilty and tell him the truth. For now none of those emotions have spurred within her so apart from minor guilt attacks she's not feeling remorseful at all.
Riddhima is another story altogether. She's supposed to love Om truly and not use his name for support and money from media for her own selfish reasons. Riddhima is the real snake here. She's just using Om and we all know how hurt and betrayed Om is going to feel.

Ridhi Di,

You never fail to amaze me with your insight. The clarity and depth with which you express yourself is beautiful. I agreed with every point you said, and you argued it with such grace. I can see your calm, negotiating lawyer side in this post. Thank you for putting it so simply, because Ishaana has been confusing a lot of people ever since her entry. Finally your final line gave me shivers. You really know how to pack a punch.

I guess now I know why you call yourself parthianglory because that parting shot really is devastating. 👏

🤗

You have an uncanny ability for scoping out my posts. How do you do it woman?

I actually hadn't thought of it like that. Maybe it was a subconscious thing. I'll pass it off as a funny coincidence.

And it really isn't that devastating when you think about it. It's just tactlessly honest. We would all do irrational things to save people we love, but I don't understand why Ishaana is always ripped to pieces because of it.

No one is perfect, but I strongly believe that just as madness is genius, imperfection is beauty.

😊 I don't hate her tbh, I think no one does and most ppl hate the way this character is so poorly written...its a strong dislike for the inconsistency in characterization of the girl opposite such an intense character...although I haven't said it but I have liked her in few scenes like the one where she watches an emotional Om when Shivay is back and she silently thanks God for sending Om's brother back...or the recent scene where she convinces both Om and Riddhima to come to the same place and then her monologue

but like many people already said, I would like to see Ishana standing against her drunkard father and making him understand that they are already in a big trouble coz of him and he is still the same lazy man who only teaches his daughter to fool people for money instead of trying to arrange money on his own

I would also like to know what Ishana does apart from making plans to trap Om...like a job or studies or something atleast

And I hope she realizes well before emotionally hurting Om that what she is doing is wrong and confesses herself infront of Om instead of Om getting to know this from elsewhere...I think that would redeem her character a bit
