Is he a dwarf or not? Let the director tell you!

Everybody is intrigued about what Shah Rukh Khan is doing in Aanand L Rai's film. The fact that he plays a dwarf has made people increasingly interested in the film. And why won't they? Not everyone has the guts to try such a diverse character at a time when films aren't faring too well at the box office. Case on point is Dilwale and Fan. But you have to appreciate the fact that the actor is trying something different and that has made us really excited about the film. While Rai had said before to a daily that it will see him as a dwarf, he went into the details about it when he spoke to us EXCLUSIVELY.

Talking about Shah Rukh's character in the film, Rai said, "I have been hearing this and I have been talking about this. Yes, it's a dwarf film. But dwarf is not the character. I am making a film where the size of the character is short. It's a very new character. It's a story about a man and woman again like Ranjhanaa or Tanu Weds Manu. It has different characters. In this case, my character is smaller in size. Let's not design it like a story of a dwarf. It's a story of a man who's size is small." The director also revealed the film will start shooting this year or early next year.

Now that has made us even more interested in the film. Clearly, this man knows how to up our excitement for the film by being so ambiguous about SRK's character in the film. Guess we will have to wait for the film to happen to know what exactly Shah Rukh Khan's character is.
