Next morning Tara was at the palace to meet the Princess. When she reached her chamber, she saw it enveloped in darkness which spread everywhere. She opened the curtains and saw the Princess sleeping on the ground. She might have slept there weeping. Her cheeks were still wet because of the tears. She touched her to wake her up, "Princess..."

"Prince!!!" Meethi exclaimed as soon as she opened her eyes thinking that the Prince had returned, but Tara was there. Meethi then ran in the room in search of the Prince thinking he might be hiding to tease her but he was nowhere.

After realizing that he had not returned, she came to Tara and hugged her tightly. "Tara where is Aditya?" said Meethi sobbing.

"He will be here soon." said Tara.

"You are telling me truth?" At that time Meethi needed assurance of the Prince's return and so Tara assured her of it. Even though she too didn't know how but she was sure she would figure out a way to bring happiness to the Palace and to Wonderland.

She made Meethi sit and was going out of the Princess's chamber when she saw Princess Vasundhara standing outside Meethi's chamber. Princess Vasundhara hugged Tara. Tara said,

"It's time for you Princess to become the support of your family. You need to stay strong at this moment of crisis."

After kissing her on the forehead, she proceeded towards the Queen's chamber to see how she was. She was thinking about the Queen's condition.

"She is not only the Queen but a mother too, whose elder son is dead and the other son is kidnapped. What she must be going through?"

Her pain was unimaginable to Tara.

The Queen met Tara on her way to Meethi's chamber. She didn't speak a word to Tara because she saw a shine in Tara's eyes which was the indication of good arriving to the Palace.

Tara said, "Very soon the Prince will be here." The Queen caressed her head.

She rushed out of the Palace. She knew all her answers were with Mrityunjay, her love her life. The sun was shining brightly; it was late for her to reach his place. She knew if she was late he would be worried for her. She was almost running in the forest. She fell many times on her way to Mrityunjay. Her dress became dirty and her long sleeves were torn because of the thorns when her foot stumbled on a stone.

Although her foot was swollen and paining and bruises on her hand were paining and bleeding, she continued to run as whenever she remembered Meethi's face and her pain of separation from Aditya, she found her pain negligible. But her legs were not supporting her, so for a moment she sat to breathe in some air but in that moment she imagined herself in the place of Meethi and shivered. Without Mrityunjay there is no Tara. Thinking this she walked faster.

Here at his place Mrityunjay was cuddling Maria. He said, "Maria you know I never knew life is so beautiful until I met her. She is the breath in me."

When Tara saw Mrityunjay cuddling Maria, she stopped at the gate.

"He is there, my life is there. My Mrityunjay is there."

Then suddenly she remembered about Meethi, just her thought scared Tara to the core. She ran towards Mrityunjay and hugged his back tightly. He smiled and tried to lose her grip. She didn't want to lose him so when Mrityunjay tried to free himself from her hug and see her, she tightened her grip. She rested her head on his back.

"Never leave me." she murmured.

She was breathing heavily. He suspected something weird and when he saw the bruise on her hand he forcefully dragged her in front of him. He was shocked to see the bruises on her hand and dirt on her dress.

"What happened to you Tara? Are you all right?" he said caressing her wounds and then her face.

"Come sit." He took her to the chair kept outside the house.

"How did this happen?"

He rushed inside the house to bring a cloth and water to clean her wounds. He gave her water to drink and started cleaning her wounds.

Tara was quietly watching him and thinking, "How much he cares!"

He was continuously asking her how she was injured but she was lost in praising her destiny, Mrityunjay. She held his hand and said,

"Never leave me Mrityunjay."

He immediately stopped speaking and sat next to her and asked,

"What happened Tara? Why are you so...?"

Before he could complete his sentence, she hugged him surprising him again. He understood she was worried about something.

He caressed her and said,

"I am not going anywhere Tara, I am and will always be with you. You are my life Tara. Tell me what happened, why you are so worried?"

He slowly lifted her face.

"Prince Aditya, he is missing. The vampire abducted him."

Mrityunjay was shocked on hearing this.

"What!! When, from where he went missing??"

Tara narrated the whole story.

"Mrityunjay I had seen Princess Meethi's condition without the Prince. And I..."

He sealed her trembling lips by his and took her in his embrace. After a short but satisfying kiss, he released her lips. Tara was feeling safer now. He slowly cut the cloth from her sleeves taking care that he doesn't hurt her. Each time when his fingers touched her hand, she shivered. He cleaned the wounds with water. Then slowly he lifted her gown to clean her bleeding foot. He saw a thorn still stuck in her leg. He removed it and she cried out in pain. He kissed the wound which was made by the thorn, and she smiled shyly. Then he cleaned it. By the time he finished cleaning her wounds, Guruji arrived.

Seeing his daughter hurt, he got worried and rushed to her.

"What happened Tara? How did you get these wounds?" asked Govind, who had met his daughter after years.

He like any other father wanted to keep his daughter happy and safe. Mrityunjay narrated the whole story of the Prince missing.

"Ohhh I should have read it clearly." murmured Govind.

"Mrityunjay take her out of the forest, she needs rest."

Saying this, he rushed inside. Mrityunjay brought Maria and lifted Tara in his arms and kissed the wounds on her hand and said, "Is it ok?" She smiled shyly. He made her sit and after that rode Maria out of the forest fast. On their way back to the city, Tara hugged him tightly. She was very comfortable in his arms.

When they reached outside the forest, he said,

"Tara it's time for you to go. I am going to find the Prince."

Her face became sad hearing this but seeing the need of the hour, she separated from him and said goodbye with teary eyes.

"Come to me as soon as these wounds heal. Even for me, without you life is nothing."

He said and galloped Maria into the forest and in a second he was out of Tara's sight. He galloped Maria in the direction of where he had last seen the prince. He was sure to find some clue about vampires.

Here Guruji was calculating something and by the time his calculation ended, Mrityunjay arrived.

Mrityunjay said, "It's that same vampire which attacked Tara." But Guruji was lost in his thoughts. He tapped him, "Guruji."

He said, "Time is coming closer very fast."

Mrityunjay was confused hearing this. He said, "What is coming closer?"
