Hats off; another fantabulous epi! Dhamakidaar!!! Finally AA know saniya's true intentions.
Saniya's plan was… umm… pathetic. I expected more evilness from her, but I guess her brain is not working properly. For all u out there angry at azaan for helping saniya back to the hotel instead of finding the whereabouts of afreen, wipe off that long face b/c he only did it out of the goodness of his heart. Even if his greatest enemy was in pain, azaan couldn't bear it.
In the hotel, when saniya pulls out the nightgown, I was like S*** NO!!! For a moment, I was angry w/ the writers for making this drama like every other one, but thankfully AS didn't have an ONS. Saniya looked so smug at having easily entrapped azaan w/ her womanly whims, first at the park and then in the hotel room. The actress playing saniya is terrific b/c she uses her whole body language, not just her face to deliver her lines.
I wonder what was in the file that azaan knocked over. Was it papers to the case in which AA fought against each other? Azaan looked extremely pissed off. I like how yasir kept a straight face when he requested saniya to go out w/ him, but fire was raging in his eyes. What are your predictions on how azaan will unmask saniya?
Here's my prediction: Azaan will take saniya out; she'll have a blast. Meanwhile, afreen will be running around town trying to locate azaan. At the end of the day, azaan deceptively gets close to saniya and then confronts her about the case and her involvement in it. He'll dump saniya, and curse her for all eternity. Afreen finds azaan lost in his thoughts in a serene garden, and wonders how to tell him that his gf betrayed him. She gathers the courage, and azaan pretends not to know what she is talking about and says that she's making all this up to separate them. Afreen begs and pleads, and finally azaan asks why does she care what happens to him? Why is she so worried about his happiness? AA confess that they love ea other!! YAY!!
I liked saniya's father; he is such a caring, calm, sweet man (though a bit oblivious). His and afreen's scene was really sweet. He acted more fatherly than hadi sahib has (will get to hs later). He contrasts the doc afreen pleaded w/ to come see azaan. After all, he went out of his way to take care of afreen, bringing her to his home, even offering her to spend the night. He took care of afreen as he would take care of his own daughter, saniya. However, if the actor playing him is staying on for a couple more weeks, he needs to work on how to deliver his lines. When he went on and on about saniya, from the lines, you could tell that he loves his daughter immensely and has full faith that his upbringing has instilled moral and ethical values in saniya. However, he's very monotonous; he doesn't more around, use hand gestures, etc; he doesn't have much revealed through facial expression either.
I was surprised, and a bit confused that saniya's father lived in/ near Dubai. I thought they lived in London. (Or was that me just making an assumption based on that AS met in London?) And if saniya's father's home is right in the city, why is she staying in a hotel?
Again, the orphanage lady played a pivotal role, but she was also expressionless the whole time when she delivered her lines. It seemed as though she was genuinely guilty over the pain she had caused afreen, but that is not reflected in her face. There was one tear, probably from a fake tears solution. I loved how she told the story straight forward, instead of beating around the bush like in some storylines.
Afreen was fantastic in this scene. The hurt and anguish she feels over losing azaan is so real. B/c of one misunderstanding, b/c of one assumption, she set fire to her own life. She buried her own heart. She sent away the man she loves most in the world. At that moment, it seemed that all afreen wanted to do was run after azaan and hold him tight. She wants nothing more in the world than to be w/ him. When afreen says to the orphanage lady, "You have separated a child from his father, and a wife from her husband." my mouth just dropped to the floor. Just last week, afreen felt uncomfortable when azaan said that this child is theirs, but now she fully accepts azaan as the father of this child. Her dreams that she had buried just a few hours earlier have been reawakened. She dreaming again that she and azaan will be together. She hoping against hope that this time, her khwaish will be fulfilled. Cheers!
Naaz and naila's scene was an atomic bomb! WOW! Naaz has met her match w/ naila. Of course, where naila has respect for relationships and knows not to step out of bounds, naaz is shameless and brash. If naila acted even a quarter of how b***** naaz does, naaz wouldn't even stand a chance against her wrath. Naaz doesn't even give a damn about her yasir, why would she fear naila. However, she as a character is very shrewd. She should seriously be a politician. Truly, the way she takes advantage of the situation and turns the table on naila is mind-boggling. She is a true card player b/c she knows when and how to play her next move. In the hassan house, I really don't feel that the women have much of a voice. Hadi sahib has lost complete faith in nasreen, tambreen, and naila. Doesn't he have even some faith on these relationships? He has known and loved these ppl for the most part of his life; how can one woman so easily break his trust in all these ppl? Naaz is a true chess player b/c she knows which pieces she can afford to lose and which she can use to her advantage. She has turned NTN against her, but yasir and hadi sahib are on her side, and b/c everything they say goes, NTN have no choice but the succumb to her ploys. As a character, hadi sahib is infuriating, and naila is disappointing. Can't she raise her voice for the truth against her husband? Naaz is humiliating her beyond reason, and she just bows down to it when she gets blasted by hadi.
Hadi sahib has fallen far from the character he used to be in the first few epis. When afreen managing parties and events, he had full faith in her. He believed that she would never do something that would humiliate him. All of a sudden, his character has had an about face, and he's lost all faith in all the family members. When his sister accused afreen of being a moral-less girl when she returned home late one night, hadi sahib defended her, saying that he trusts her completely and knows afreen would never do anything that would shame him. Where is that man? Chachi was his own sister, and he wouldn't hear a word against afreen, but naaz is accusing NTN left right and center, and he believes every word he says w/o looking at the whole pic.
Naila's lines that naaz is spoilt and accepts only expensive gifts is so true. Now naila knows naaz's true face. Naaz isn't used to this new environment, and she isn't putting much of an effort into adapting to it. But then again, why should she? She has grown up and lived a certain way; she can't be expected to change overnight, and for that matter, why should she change, period? She is who she is, and I like how naaz is adamant about not losing her identity, but I don't like the method she goes about asserting it.
Naaz was such a witch in the scene when she promises naila that she'll fill her world w/ tears. She is so selfish and not evil, but uncaring, that it's brilliant. Ekta does a wonderful job bringing justice to the character of naaz. She is absolutely fantastic.
Request to BT: Stop using a liner on naila's lips! It's harsh, and unappealing. It looks like someone took a cutout of lips and glued them to her face. She doesn't even need liner v/c her lips are well defined.
Enjoy
