Sona and Neha are the two brides on the show. The two women who've found love after we met them. One of them has crossed over from a girlfriend to a wife. The other is yet to do so.

But there is a beautiful contrast between them both. And if I'm not way off track, it will come into play later on in the show.

Neha was never a priority for the family she was born into. She was always secondary to someone else. She grew up with that pain and abandonment, and the reason she is a strong-willed and self-respecting woman who knows what she wants, is no one but herself. She has never had someone rooting for her, and she has always had to do it for herself. The love around her was always selfish and conditional, the strongest example for that being Dev and Ishwari.

Sona, on the other hand, was born into a family, were everyone was an equal. The husband and wife were, the brother and sister were. There was a healthy atmosphere of friendliness and more importantly, openness, in that home. The reason why she is a strong-willed and self-respecting woman, is the respect given to her by her family. She has always been cheered on and wholeheartedly supported, in everything she does, by her entire family. The love she has seen was selfless and unconditional, the best example for that being Asha and Bijoy.

Neha fell in love with Ranveer. And Ranveer's family, though lacking in material comforts, has always treated her as one of their own. There is so much respect towards her from Ranveer's family.

Sona fell in love with Dev. And Dev's family, though blessed with material luxuries and all the riches, treats her like a complete outsider. The behavior towards her is contemptuous and alienating.

Someday, I want Neha to ask Ishwari square on her face : "Jab maine aur Ranveer ne hamaare pyaar ke baare mein unke ghar waalon ko bataaya tha, ya jab hamaari shaadi hone ke baad main uss ghar mein chali gayi thi, tab agar voh humse aisa bartaav karte jaise aap Dev bhai aur Sonakshi ke saath kar rahi hain, toh aapko kaisa lagta maa?"

That would probably a huge step towards opening Ishwari's eyes.

Totally agree...

I am so disheartened today...

I don't feel like saying a word for Ishwari...

Since yesterday, she has become incomprehensible to me... And whom you do not understand, you don't even want to sympathise with them...

I hope atleast her children throw some sense in her...

yeah it is hard to believe a loving mother of three daughters would be like that.
Anyway, I do not see much potential in the story line. Sony TV is known to kill the shows and this may be on the chopping block as well.
There is also an overdose of Supriya as she is in two shows (Dilli wali thakur girls) at the same time.

So so true!!

And I would love to see Neha saying something like this. In fact I'm rooting for Neha to play an integral role post Dev-Sona's break up. Only Neha knows her mother very well.. It is she who can be the eye opener... It is she who can bring light into this dark, complex mother & son relationship. Hoping the cvs utilize this character...

I feel that Neha will be back at her home after a fight with Ranveer . This might happen post Dev - Sona breakup. When Dev says no to Sona , there Neha would have said No to Ranveer because he would have chosen to sell the flat for his mom's operation.

So both Dev and Ranveer decided their mothers were important. Here you might argue that Ranveer 's mom was not well and needed money. But if he loved his wife, he could have taken loan from Dev and returned it when he gets money...after all they are family rt??
And Dev if he loved Sona so much , he could have asked her time and told her to maintain some distance for some time at least in front of his side of family till things settles .

Life is like an echo, what you give is what you get back!!

I would rather want the same thing said to mataji in just a lil different words...

Neha to ishwari: I am really lucky that my mother in law is not like my own mother... N I pray for depth of my heart that none my both sisters get a mother in law like you!

I mean that would be a punch on face..

Totally agree with your words... Mataji needs a hard hit from neha
