thnx DD...coming from you..i thk i will treat myself to yummy's today😆

there's one other thing which would be interesting topic of discussion..the Ridz Sumit angle...

Dunn get me wrong there!I do not approve of Ridz leading him on...but is she really doing that?

She is generally a pleasant person, cordial and sweet.Sometimes that does get one unwarranted attention and trouble sply from the other gender. But is she really at fault there?Even if she does Sumit toback off would it be right in his present state? In sickness and low times people tend to hold on to anything that would give them hope and joy.Sumit sees her as a ray of hope .

Armaan sees it as her folly when he himself was in a near situation like this with Minnie!

If you think it worth a discussion..how abt a post on this?

@Notty: Sorry to butt in yaar...but I would've agreed till a while back about Ridz just being her sweet self, and being nice to Sumit cuz of his illness...but I feel things are going a bit too far now...the guy's blatantly hitting on her!! Compassion or no compassion...it needs to stop in my opinion.

I think Armaan's situation with Minnie was very different. Minnie was a totally different kind of person...they had a deep understanding with each other...thus the cute little bf-gf relationship...Sumit basically seems to be...if I may so...forcing his attentions on Ridz...who may not be saying anything cuz she feels bad for him in his present condition.

Aarti as usual what a discussion your posts set off. I have been reading and reading and reading furiously to catch up with the replies and as usual your post has managed to stir up the forum and the replies keep adding newer dimensions. Mindblowing I tell ya!

I loved the way you said about Ridhima being on the pedestal and the feeling that SHE can never go wrong, no doubt fueled by all that affection and adoration she has got at her home and outside. I just loved the way Armaan tried to get her out of it, calling her an attention seeker.

At first I thought here he goes after her again but then the way he said he was wrong in thinking she is simple, seedha-saadha and the way he tried to get her to see her folly in leading Sumit on inspite of his jealousy and disappointment and anger at her made sense. Oh how he loves her despite her faults and attempts to make her see through her follies.

For one what a fall she will have from the high pedestal. I for one hope she will come crashing down, resoundingly so. And yeah join the chorus of GROVEL Ridhima.

I didnt find her reaction to Sumit's adoration naive somehow. The way she was reveling in it and leading him on, her expression at that point. I felt like leaning over and pricking her to let out some of air lest she hyperinflate and burst. Does she love the attention or what!!!

I liked the way they are potraying Angi-Atul relation now. Really nice.

The hookah thing was new to me. Terrifying to think of my child growing up in such environs and such a young age. It is getting younger and younger too, getting spoilt and being lead on in that vulnerable age. Scary!

Loved the cold fury of Armaan and controlled manner yet caustic manner in which it was potrayed. I am so happy they didnt got for the over the top reaction. His disappointment in her, his shock that she could go to this extent, his realization that she is not all what he thought her to be. So brilliantly potrayed by KSG.

She is so shameless to walk around after all that. I would have hidden myself in the remotest corner of the earth. She has the gall to tell him oh you came to even the scores. She is so caught up in scoring one over Armaan, she hasnt even given a thought to her reactions. She hasnt reflected on why she reacts the way she does to him nor appreciate him.

Ms Ridhima are u in for a shock or what. You are going to realize that you are a mere mortal after all and not a very commendable on at that after the level you stooped to. Despite that there is someone to look out for you and be with you no matter what! Hope you get that before that also deserts you!

I guess most of it has been said already, just wanted to add my bit too! Imagine I wrote it once and then the net conked off, was super miffed. Had to retype the whole reply and it was not the same as the first time.

Armaan sees it as her folly when he himself was in a near situation like this with Minnie!

If you think it worth a discussion..how abt a post on this? comin' up!!!

Anu..i didnt mean to glorify Ridz in stressing on her general sweet disposition.I just wanted to say that this does happen.People with mild manners sometimes gain unwarranted attention from others.Such situations become hard to handle.

I mentioned Sumit's illness because he is fighting for his life. And a disappointment at this time could be a fatal(oh well exxagerated i know) blow...

But yes she should atleast say sth like "I am your DOC and am just doing my duty" unless ofcourse Armaan is totally right abt her being the attention seeker even from her critical patients!

Right you are!Minnis case was diff. But Armaan got emotionally attached to the case.Tho i do not see any emotional attachment from Ridz in Sumits case but she is doing her bit professionally.

Whatever stupidity Ridz has so far displayed ,i hope this does not add to it!

Bank of Aarti to start our daily dose of DMG discussion! Some amazing thoughts here, and very analytical too. 😉

I didn't know what to say, initially thought I would say nothing regarding last night's episode but I must express my appreciation to the creatives for their 'shockingly' brilliant track. 👏👏👏

Have a special word of praise for Shilpa; I thought she had amazing expressions in the terrace scene. The transition from a scary freak to the shocked reaction was brilliant!

About the action, well my top amazement amongst many is where is that sensibility that she showed glimpses of during the Mini case or the sensibility that comes from being a woman or better yet a doctor? This makes you wonder whether the current track is a little forced for obvious reasons. Because it seems so out of sync with her character, what- we are to believe that she just lost it at that moment? I know many will disagree with me here but seriously this prank was outright cheap! Just imagine what if Sapna or others would have seen it; they would have been shocked to their wits, what is up with you? I know there is no point analyzing, so I won't go there. Instead let me voice my appreciation (at this much needed change that will surely reverse roles now), which goes beyond my failure to understand her actions. May be I am over-reacting more as a woman than a viewer!

So what made her lose it? Young, pretty, smart (at least perceived so initially), dignified- and yet what that face showed was anything but that! It was almost witchlike-remorseless and disgustingly creepy- a doctor by profession, are you kidding me! That laughter was so sadistic simply basking in the pleasure of knowing that she had made him angry! But it was quickly wiped off her face with his immediate cold disapproval, how can you stoop so low? And that is precisely what I ask? How is this possible- the only logic being what she herself stated in the end- I am also twisted! She sure is, almost like a dual personality- somewhere- everyone perceives her as this sweet innocent girl but with Armaan so far at least, her dark shades seem to shine through. Not that I am complaining, I love this track, you know, it's so not what we expect- and that's refreshing to say the least! So she's not the plain- simple girl- ah, that adds more – gives you more scope, its brilliant. It shows at some level that everyone is human and is capable of erring! But it's interesting to note that the dark side of her persona seems to come through only around Armaan, so what causes it? Her to react, to act the way that completely negates the kind of person she is! I think there's a point there, with these pranks they are more like teenagers than doctors!

I agree 'nave' is not the term for her. At the moment, 'attention seeker' fits the bill. Every time you think she is not getting it, she surprises you with her actions. She knows exactly what Armaan feels for her, what his weakness is and what he means when he doesn't say a word. So it's wrong to assume that she doesn't know what is going on with Sumit, I guess we want her to set the record straight with him- you are my patient and I am your doctor! This Sumit scene is so going to back-fire on her and by then Armaan will have warned her enough to care! I guess when it comes to being a doctor, she has to learn a lot more from Anjali with regards to these things, I was pleasantly surprised with Anjaili at how she handled her patient, and how clear she seems in her head- like she says think from the head! Our protagonist really needs to sort out a lot of things, and the least she can do is be 'honest' with her self. I guess the creatives do know where they are heading with her characterization. At this rate, I see her completely breaking down one day, and god forbid if Armaan isn't there by her then! But that scene, I tell you I am waiting for!

I think her actions have left us as shocked as Armaan about how low she could go, because I don't think any doctor, let alone a woman would play such a prank just for the sake of it especially someone who was nearly traumatized with it sometime back. We certainly didn't expect it from her!

I guess she has got herself in this big hole now, it'll be interesting to see how she manages to get herself back to ground. Not only has to redeem herself in front of Armaan but also us. Of course her prolonged denial to everything does not help.

And somewhere, I too got the feeling that Armaan does see her as this ultimate quest, and even when he is angry at her, feels obliged to tell her what is right and wrong. He is definitely on track to break through her fortress, and the basketball match will in all likelihood be the beginning of that long process. This by the looks of it has already begun how she was touching her shoulder, thinking while waiting for Dr.Keerti, but it will take terribly long for her that's for sure…

It sure is getting interesting.
Thank-you once again to the team of DMG!

thx for such an awesome post, Aarti!! well, you've conveyed all the points that i and most of us here had observed.. and i don't think i can add more to it. however, i'd like to chip in my thoughts here.. cuz i've been very much pleased with yesterday's episode..

well, after watching monday's episode i was so much baffled that i'd been waiting for yesterday's episode very eagerly.. just because i wanted to see Dr. Riddhima getting a good one from Armaan for stooping so low! n wow, the way The Creatives executed that first scene was just superb! that one line, "Tum Itna Gir Sakti ho", from Armaan was pretty felicitous for her.. n i couldn't help but stand up and clap for the creatives.. and not to forget KSG whose expressions were just brilliant!!

n then came the night scene.. another brilliantly executed scene, although it had been copied from the movie dil! n that line, "Meri Himmat Kaise Hui.. Aur jo Tumne Kiya..?", was just wow for my ears!

now what i didn't like was Riddhima's 'high-and-mighty' (if that's the correct word) behaviour or what you called her 'Moral Superiority'.. i mean, she knew what she did was totally wrong but still she didn't have a feeling of guilt in her eyes.. although, in the begining she had started to feel it.

"...This thought of self-sanctity continues in her refusal to see Sumit's ardor. She does not want to believe she is capable of leading anybody down a misconstrued path. She revels in the praise that her patient showers on her and in not accepting that her refusal to show Sumit the right way, may actually encourage him, she displays that very air of moral superiority she carries around her like a talisman!" - totally agree with u!!

about the hukkah stuff, i'd like to congratulate the creatives for getting back on track!! it was very well handled as well! totally loved that part! n not to forget Atul and Anjie for their brilliant job!

won't comment much on the last part of the episode.. as i'm a bit tired right now! it's for the first time that i've written/typed such a long post!! (well, that's the effect of your thought provoking posts, i guess!) lol..
