I don't see dadi as selfish because she doesn't ask anything for herself. Dadi lives in a man-centered world, very old fashioned. For her only Abhi matters. She's different to Abhi and different to Aliya. Pragya is important only if she can help Abhi.

Now when Abhi's life is threatened, she is saying she can't live without Abhi.

Both are lies that she can't live without Abhi or Pragya.

She just does random stuff without thinking. Foolish are those who listen to her like she is some preacher.
