Every year, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has a combination of dancers and non-dancers. In the former category, it has two strong players in the form of Salman Yusuff Khan andShantanu Maheshwari. A source tells us that the latter has given a rousing performance in the upcoming episode. It has prompted celebrity guest, Anil Kapoor and judges to join him on the stage. Shantanu danced on Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai from Salman Khan'sSultan.
The D3 actor is one of the youngest stars on TV. The makers roped in the teen sensation knowing his dancing prowess and popularity. He is already a hit with the judges, especially Jacqueline Fernandez who has a crush on him. His first performance on the show will be on Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai from Sultan. It is apparently so good that Anil Kapoor will give him a standing ovation.
A source shares, "Shantanu is the first contestant on the show to get a complete 10 score. Ganesh Hegde's famous Happy Dance made a debut this season after Shantanu's performance. He is really raising standards on the show."
Shantanu Maheshwari is playing the role of Sahir, a singer on MTV's Girls On Top. He was earlier seen on D3 on Channel V. The young actor is a part of the troupe, Desi Hoppers. They won the World Dance Championships in Los Angeles in 2015. Shantanu is one of the founding members of the group along with Macedon D'mello and Nimit Kotian. With Salman Yusuff Khan setting the stage afire with his sensuous performance last week, we are sure this guy must have upped him to grab the top scores.
