Who else is glad?? I am sure every parent will be anxious to see if their daughter can adjust or if she gets respect inthe sasural. I am interested to see how this unfolds... I think if gkb insults sona and her family, asha is going to put her foot down and object to this relationship...

I want to see dev convincing and reassuring boses...

Glad to see this angle coming up... Afterall why shud a middle class girl (FL ) in typical serials always go in to high class sasural and suffer.

I loved the idea of the Boses making a surprise visit to the Dixits, like you said every parent is concerned about the intricacies of family they will marry their daughter in. .

But, Going with the entire family. . Elena, Sourav and Dadi along with Mama and Papa Bose was too much. .Without informing that is.

That is actually inviting mockery for yourselves specially when you haven't met the family as prospective in-law for your daughter.

Sonakshi is not married already and it is not her home. . So you can't decide to surprise her just like that. . When it comes to matters as sensitive as marriage.😆

But having said that, I am sure Asha will become wary of the situation in Dixit family and won't tolerate her daughter being looked down upon. Even Bijoy. .he is a man of principles.

So, all in all, I am excited too.😆

This was actually my first reaction as well! It makes total sense from the Bose family's perspective. Sona hid her relationship from them for a long time, and even now after she revealed it, is not allowing them to communicate with the Dixits; they tried to get her to set up a meeting but she refused. Given the norm of open communication in their family, this concealment will obviously set off alarms in their heads. What does Sona have to hide from them? Is it something she knows they wouldn't approve of? And if they go on a planned visit, would they really be able to see what the situation is?

Sona may find it intrusive, but that's only because she can't yet see how much she is losing her own identity, and putting her family second, in her efforts to please Dev and his family. That's what happens when one is in love, but it is at these times that we need our loved ones to anchor us and remind us of who we are, deep down. That's why I love the Bose family. Instead of cooking khayali pulao like Ishwari, they are willing to bang down any door to find out what is going on with their child, and they are not afraid of being "wrong" in her eyes for the moment to ensure her long-term happiness.

I'm all for the resurgence of the Bose spirit! 👍🏼

Agreed!! you are 100 % rt. We feel bad when we see a girls family getting insulted but its also true they had the right to know how their daughter will be treated . It is important to see if their daughter will be respected in that house no matter how rich the guy is.

I really hope Asha very clearly states she is not happy with this relationship and Sona should think again before she takes further decisions.

Many a times I have felt that Dev's family might be rich , but they dont stand up to Sona's family when it comes to class ,culture and etiquette. They are highly civilised . To attain these qualities what is required

is not money but education. In Sona's case both parents are educated and that has helped them to give their kids a very balanced and civilised upbringing .

I did not think from this angle.I was angry on bose families surprise visit.First thing Asha said to Bijoy n her MIL when she said about Dev-Sona.She said will they respect Sona.GKB taunting will not be take lightly by Asha.Me to badly want Asha to put her foot down.Dev coming n giving assurance Sona will get the respect.

One more thing I want Sona to share this incident with Dev.She should not hide it.Asha should guide Sona reg it.

Lets see what'll we get from the sequence... Looking forward to the episode... I want Dev to know of his Mami's behavior towards the Bose family and his reaction is the much needed one i feel.

When ppl fall in love and is an inter cast/inter state love affair , its better to warn their kids before they approach each others family. But here I guess , Asha would have wanted to check on the family and see how their daughter is being treated . Every time when discussion of Dev comes , if you notice Asha's expression , she doesnt encourage much jokes or laughs as much as the others. I think she has always had doubts abt her daughter being treated badly by his family. Hence the surprise visit...so no sugar coating done here to make things look good.
