alisha is good in bollywood and hip hop, but i dont remember her doing anything ekse. She is a great dancer, but not so as a choreographer. I cant seem to remember any amazing performances from her in previous seasons...amazing as in concept, dance form, music and choreography. IMHO, she is very limited. Pls feel free to remind me of any, if you guys remember.

I cant imagine her choreograpghing ballroom style for Shan...😭

Today Suchitra was awesome. The way she made Shakti look like an amazing dancer with her smart concept and choreography was brilliant. Wish she was Shan's partner.

Who else do you think would have best suited Shantanu? Shampa would have taken Shantanu to another level, in terms of dancing and Jhalak show.

Coming to think of it, male choreographers have been better than females on JDJ throughout.😆

May be like Slaman.Shanatanu can choreograph his act or give input to Alisha.When they do dance form.Which is not Alisha's forte.

Let's just hope for the best.

i read in a article few years back when alisha was asked about choreographing jhalak...she said she left jhalak as she always got weak contestants which left her choreography limited and she can't experiment alot.

Hope this time she proves her self.

beside Alisha it would have been great if Shan and Shampa would have been parters.

Shampa has choreographed Shantanu's dance in Twist Wala Love episodes.

We haven't seen much of Alisha in JDJ to come to a conclusion. She I think did a good job with that Crorepati guy who could barely dance.

For the 1st time she has got a good contestant. Lets see how it goes.

As for Shampa, yes she is amazing but would have looked way older than Shantanu. The pair would have looked odd.

Honestly, Alisha di hasn't choreographed anything in recent years for television so we can't make judgements.

As someone who knows Alisha di, I can assure you that she is a capable dancer/choreographer. She has been assisting really big Bollywood choreographers on film sets. She's assisted Shruti maam during DID4 where she was exposed to plenty of different dance styles.

Also, it's not just Alisha who choreographs his acts. There's a team behind every performance, so I'm sure they have some input into the routine as well.

Like I said at the start, she hasn't choreographed anything recently, so we can't just judge her based on her past Jhalak performances. Especially since she has achieved so much more with her dance since then.

SIDE NOTE

Shantanu himself, in an article, said "knowing Alisha helps because I'm an introvert, and if you're not comfortable with someone on stage, it shows." So whilst a lot of you have concerns about her being his choreographer, I think Shantanu is happy with the partner he was given.

P.S. Sorry if I sound defence, Alisha di is very much like an older sister to me, so I get very protective over her 😳

Anyway based on first act,I would say that the choregraphy was simple,Shantanu can do more than this. As we all know,Shantanu is a great dancer and alisha should explore his potential better. And I hope that she come up with different concepts and ideas as well as dance styles fr Shan.

I wish Shantanu win :) He deserves it! :)

Can't comment on Alisha much because I haven't seen much of her. Opening act she was good but have to wait till next few episodes to come to conclusion. So far hellys choreographer is the worst

We can't say anything for now...In her jhalak's journey she has always given literally the non-dancers who has eliminated in initial stage of the show. So as a choregrapher we haven't seen her much.

Though she has worked with some industry biggies for sure, but most of numbers are choreographed in typical bollywood style as per the comfort zone of actors. Sure,as a dancer she is strong especially in Bollywood and Hip-hop but I dont remember her doing abything extra-ordinary or creative. We have to wait n watch that how much best she can take out of shantanu.

i would av loved marischa wid shan. she is my fav choreographer in jdj. she always had non dancer contestants bt she made them good dancers be it mohit, shan or chang. she would av been d best option. bt i do agree that alisha has nt been given a proper contestant to utilize her talent. so lets wait n watch.
i just hope that shantanu wins d show.

WHY ALISHA WHY???

Why would you make Shan do a latin dance for first time in face off against salman. Dont we sll knw that's salman's forte and shan not having done it before would nt be as confident. You could have chosen a freestyle partner work than salsa/tango specifically.

Week by week i am losing all hopes from alisha. Jai ad alisha are under utilizbg their partners by giving them sub pr choreographies. Look at bhavna, she is bringing the best ut of non dancer arjun.

In any case todays face off reminde me of swaam vs karma in d3 on thw same song and choreography in D3 was waY bettr thab jDJ
