BTS and AR Rahman collaborating for a song? Rumour spreads like wild fire in desi K-Pop fans

BTS is loved all over the world, and their Indian fan base is huge. From making their edits on Indian songs to winning streaming battles, Indian fans always go the extra mile for the magnificent seven young men from South Korea. There are rumours that they might visit India next year as part of their world tour. Of late, the world has seen the great response to the Coldplay concerts and how we have the infrastructure for big shows. In between all this, rumours have come that BTS might do a collaboration with AR Rahman. This has been spreading on social media since some time.

It seems someone who is associated with the music industry has heard something to this effect in the industry corridors. There is no official confirmation on the same or any report. However, the rumour reached the ears of Indian BTS fans who are already quaking with excitement. In Grammys 2022, AR Rahman and BTS were seated close to one another. His son Ameen also clicked with Park Jimin.

It seems BTS’ spring album will be a return to their roots. Fans are guessing it will be more of hip-hop, which was their original genre. Dark & Wild had hip-hop songs and was a breakthrough album in the K-Pop industry. They will be working with a number of American music producers for this album. We do not know if AR Rahman is also associated with one of them. Or maybe it is for a song by an individual member. BTS/Bangtan Sonyeondan has achieved stardom that may feel is on par with The Beatles. The difference is that they did it in the era of social media. RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jin, V, Jungkook and Jimin have all made successful solo albums dabbling in different genres. They have also done sell-out solo tours across the globe.
