Is Dev that dumb ?

Guys I know we haven't watched it yet , but do u really think its a gud idea to take Sona along with them for shopping given the fact that Dev knows he hurt his mother regarding his relationship with Sona ... Doesn't he think its too soon , and he has to make up for the hurt he caused and give her reassurance , before trying to get Sona and Ish spend time together ... And regarding the photo frame issue also , in the sbs segment we watched Dev says on her face that the photo is not perfect since Sona is not in it , but even if they are engaged , before marriage do we include soon-to-be-daughtr/son-in-law if they hang a family photo and knowing his mom why Dev is acting so reckless ?😲

Is he really that dumb ?

I agree 🤔🤔 I've also been frustrated with Dev about this. You dont include your fiance or gf/bf in family photo. If my sibling were to do it I'd be kinda annoyed actually. And also the shopping thing, a smart man would know not to choose between gf's and mom's choice. I hope Dev accepts both of their choice of clothing or chooses something else entirely. Arent Sona and Ishwari always at Dixit house anyway? Why does Dev think they need additional bonding time lol

But Dev has always been like this. He always acts before he thinks. He just accepted his mother's words that she is happy for him and she accepts Sona. He now wants them to get to know each other. He was already in trouble n this is going to speed it up. Can't help he needs to learn it the hard way.😆 Too much emotional. Can't think straight when heart is involved.

It may seem like a bad idea to us but Dev doesn't know his mother is insecure.He just thought that Ishwari is hurt because he didn't share about his love for Sonakshi.When Ishwari said her happiness lies in his, he believed it.Abd now he just wants Sona and Ishwari to bond at every chance.He just thinks its better if his mom and Sona spend more time together.

The simple answer to your question would be No Dev does not know his mother. He is a seedha saccha guy, who believed that his mother has actually approved and is happy for him. He is simply trying to bring Sona so she can have better bonding with Ishwari. He already considers her as his partner (mentally n emotionally) so bringing her in for photo is not a completely bad idea. Offcourse again he misunderstood his mother being the one who would be happy for him and Sona and so the problems would arise. He had in the past and now always speaks what's in his heart.

I don't think Dev is dumb...he is just a typical male who sees everything as black and white and face value... Doesn't get women's analysis or thought processes

I completely understand Dev doesnt even have a clue about whats going on in that complex mind of Ishwari , and I am not referring to that ... Knowing Dev , for him his priority is always his mom , she is his world , and the past week had been hell for him , so knowing he was the reason for his Ishawari's irrational behavior , he was supposed to "overcompensate " as per his charctr sketch right ,remember halwa incident ? So I felt this shopping with Sona is kind of rushed ... And the logic behind family photo drama , I am still not getting it ... Its true he felt bad Sona is not in it , but saying on his mom's face that its not perfect as his GF is not in this "family photo" , for me Dev is going too far with it ...
