Man who called CM 'Hitler' now campaigns for him

GANDHINAGAR: The BJP's 'Bhai' is flying high. Gujarat's fisheries minister Purshottam Solanki, who once called Narendra Modi 'Hitler', has turned out to be the CM's chosen campaigner.

He has been given a chopper to hop from one constituency to another to garner the support of the Koli community.
An OBC community, Kolis form a sizeable number — up to 20% — in several constituencies in Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh and Surendranagar districts of Saurashtra.

The community is said to be angry with the state government over its failure to nab the culprits in the rape and murder of Koli girls some months ago in Datar of Junagadh district.

BJP sources say five helicopters are at the disposal of the party. If one of them is wholly at the disposal of Modi, others are being "shared" by stars and national leaders, including Hema Malini, Navjot Singh Siddhu, Smriti Irani, Vinod Khanna, Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu and Murli Manohar Joshi.
