Shivu Beta. this is for you. I dnt know whether its up to ur liking but I tried 😳
He blinked his eyes. He slowly opened his eyes. It was all a blur. His vision cleared slowly and he was confused. How did he land up where he was in ?? He looked around.. He was in a hospital bed. What !!! How did he come there ? He looked around and saw his youngest brother sitting on the couch and asleep on its arm. His shirt was bloodied and he had tears in his eyes. He had been crying.. He tried to get up but his arm stung. He caught his arm and hissed in pain. He must have sprained it. His hiss had woken up Rudra who looked at him wide eyes.
Rudra : Bhaiyya. Aapko hosh aa gaya
Shivaay : Rudra. Kya hua ?? Mei yaha kaise ?
Rudra : Mei abhi O ko bulaake laata hu.
He ran out to call his other brother who must have been as worried as Rudra, probably even more. He laid back on the bed and waited. Someone burst through the room. It was Om looking as frantic as ever. He engulfed his brother in a hug and Shivaay hissed in pain. Om realized this and loosened his hold on him.
Om : Shivaay, how are you feeling now ?
Shivaay : I am good.
Om : We were so worried about you...
Shivaay : What exactly happened ?
Priyanka came into the room, ready to burst into tears. She went near her brother, held his hand and started crying. Huge tears fell from her face and her body shaked. Shivaay caresses her hair with his other hand with a smile..
Priyanka : We were so scared Bhaiyya. We thought we almost lost you.
Shivaay : I am here now..
Then he remembered. He had gone in his car somewhere along with Anika to a temple due to their family's persuance. They stopped nearby a hillroad. Shivaay had taken a gulp of water and fell down. Svetlana was there and she was about to kill him. And then Anika came. There was a gunshot. And then she went.. ANIKA !!
Shivaay : Anika !!!
Priyanka jerked awake and moved away. Shivaay was looking around the room, eyes searching frantically for the person he most wanted to see at that moment.
Shivaay : Om !! Anika kaha hai ?
Priyanka : Bhaiyya. Calm down. Rest kijiye.
Shivaay : Kya hua ?
Rudra : Bhaiyya. Rest karo..
Shivaay : Mei yaha kaise aaya ??
Om : Anika..
Shivaay : Kya ?
Om : Haan Shivaay. Anika. Usko shuru se hii pata tha kii Ashok ki wife ke saath Svetlana bhi mili hui thi. She knew that Svetlana was upto no good. Jab tum logo nikle, tabhi ghar me ek letter likhke rakhi thi, regarding her doubts. The moment we read the letter, hum bhi nikal gaye. Looks like Anika was steps ahead of us. When we found you, you were bleeding a lot. You were barely alive. Phataphat hospital leke aaye the tumhe.
Rudra : You gave us quite a scare, Bhaiyya..
Shivaay's eyes watered up with tears. Anika had always told the truth. But he had been stupid enough to give into Svetlana's words He hadn't listened to his heart. His heart tugged at the thought on Anika..
Shivaay : Where is Anika ?
Om : I am sorry Shivaay. Anika ko hum baha nahi paaye.
Shivaay : Kya ?? What nonsense ?
Om : Shivaay. When Svetlana tried to kill you, Anika came in between. The water you drank was poisoned. She wanted to shoot you too. That was when Anika came inbetween and pushed the gun. Svetlana did shoot but it hit ur hand so not much damage happened. But when Svetlana was about to fall off the cliff, she pulled Anika along with her too.
Shivaay felt the world aroud him come to a halt. Anika DEAD.. Anika DIED saving him. Anika died saving a good-for-nothing person like him. He had given her nothing after their marriage, except hurt and hell. And she sacrificed her life to save him. He didn't mind when tears feel out of his blue eyes. She was gone. He would never see her again. He would never see her again to apologize to her for being a perfect jerk to her.
Priyanka : Bhaiyya. You are crying..
Om : Shivaay. Stop crying.
Shivaay let a deaf ear to them. He couldn't stop those tears. Tears became small cries as more made their way through his cheeks.
Someone : Theek hai. Now that's enough guys !!
His head jerked up. In entered Anika perfecly fine, dressed up in a pale pink shirt and light blue jeans. She looked alive and well, she was alive. She had a dressing on her head and a band-aid on her elbow. Her eyes looked tired but she was hale and healthy. Was he hallucinating ???
Rudra : Anika Bhabhi. You are no fun at all.
Anika : Chup Badmaash !!
Om : Nahi Anika. He deserves to learn a lesson.
Anika : Om, you too.
Om : Yes Anika. he deserves it. Shivaay ne jo tumhaare saath kia vo theek nahi tha. He should have thought twice before trusting Svetlana. And to make his realize this, ye plan banaaya tha meine.
Shivaay : Tumne ??
Om : Haan Shivaay. Meine..
FLASHBACK..
Om and Rudra had reached the spot where Shivaay was hardly breathing. Om had ordered Rudra to take him to the hospital while he searched for Anika. He looked around but there was no sing of Anika..
Om : ANIKA !! Where are you ? Kuch tho sign de ki you are here.
He did not get anything and feared the worst that she might be dead. That moment, he felt a surge of anger towards Shivaay. He was behind this !! Had he listened in the first place, this wouldn't have happened.. He wanted to kick his brother that moment. And then he heard it. A muffled sound. It was weak and it was coming from below the road. He walked towards the edge and saw that Anika was hanging onto the branch while there was nothing but wilderness below. He let out a hand for her and helped her up. He was glad that she was alive. A brotherly happiness surged through him. She needed treatment too. She had sustained minor injuries so she was good. As Anika opened her eyes, she saw Om staring at her with a tired face.
Anika : Om, tum?
Om : Haan mein. Anika, kya tumhe pata hai kii heropanti karna kitna dangerous hota hai !!
Anika : But..
Om : Nahi Anika. Iss vakt mei bohot ghusse me hu. So please.
Anika : Meri baat tho sun. Please.
Om 🥱 : Bako..
Anika : What do you expect Om ? Pati hai vo mera. Pyaar karti hu usse. Use khatre me nahi dekh sakti mei.
Om : Aur usne kya kia Anika tere saath ? 😡
Anika : I understand Om. Vo mujhse pyaar nahi karte hai. But mei aise nahi reh sakti na. Om, I thought you will understand. Isliye ye baat jo mei Shivvay se pyaar karti hu waali baat tumse share ki pehle.
Om melted a bit. He loved his brother a lot but Anika was an integral part of his life too. He could never imagine his life without Anika. She was his best friend and sister and the thought of losing her scared him to no ends. But he still wanted to teach Shivaay a lesson. He had asked Anika to stay out for sometime until Shivaay had repented atleast a bit..
END OF FLASHBACK..
Anika : And so, I was forced by these two into this.
Om : Oh comeon Anika. He totally deserved this shock treatment.
Anika : Om... Please...
Shivaay : I did.. I deserved this. Maybe this was for my good. The perfect lesson as to the most important thing in life..
Anika smiled and sat beside Shivaay. She put a hand on his forehead and caressed his hair. She put a hand on his heart and felt the heartbeat under her palm. She closed her eyes and smiled. She felt Shivaay's hand on her palm and opened her eyes. For the first time, his eyes had something other than hatred for her.
Shivaay : Will you forgive me, Anika ?
Anika : Yes. I forgive you. But keep this in mind Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi. When I say a lady is not good for you, she IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU.. Got that ???
Shivaay : Yes Mam..
Om, Rudra and Priyanka laughed while Anika and Shivaay looked at each other with a smile on their lips and hands tangled with each others.
