Welcome to the very first appreciation thread for our

very talented, super adorable and sabse khoobsurat,

Born on 18th February 1994, Vrushika Mehta hails from Ahmedabad, Gujurat but settled in Mumbai. Originally an incredibly talented dancer who won various inter-college competitions, including the Dance Mumbai Dance - 2011 organized by Terrence Lewis Dance Academy, she turned an actress for Channel V's very popular dance based youth show 'Dil Dosti Dance' as one of it's female leads, Sharon Rai Prakash. She has also hosted and been a part of many shows like Aasman se aage (before D3), Satrangi Sasural, episodics like Yeh hai Aashiqui , Pyaar Tune Kya kiya , Twist wala love, three outings in Marinating Films' Box Cricket League(member of Ghaent Punjabi & Chandigarh Cubs) & reality travel show -Desi Explorers Jordan/Taiwan. She was also one of the very few TV celebs chosen to be a part of Telly Calendar 2015 and Telly Calendar 2016 as well as walking the ramp for 'Be With Beti Foundation' in 2015.

Although contemporary is her strength, she has shown her versatility and talent in various other dancing styles over the years including bollywood, hip hop, folk as well as classical. Dance has always been a part of her but acting was a whole new experience and in her own words has turned into another passion of hers helping her make a mark in both the fields. Proof of this was when she was awarded the ITA Viewer's Choice Best Onscreen Couple with Shantanu Maheshwari. Apart from winning accolades and appreciation for her on-screen work, she is equally loved off-screen as well. Not just for that beautiful and infectious smile of hers but also for the honesty that comes with it.

Her constant hard work, dedication towards her profession combined with a very endearing and quirky personality, she makes one hell of a competitor and a favorite among the viewers especially the younger section of the audience.

Ishaana was initially introduced as a con-artist who cheated and stole from people for fun. Nothing from that absolutely breath-taking and completely filmy entry into the show to the following conversation that she had with her father told us otherwise. Paired opposite Omkara, it seemed as if it was going to be the usual case of "opposites attract" for these two. However, we couldn't have been more wrong as we finally got the chance to meet "the real Ishaana" beneath her happy-go-lucky facade. Underneath the whole 'Hum gujarati chu tethi hum jorathi hoi sake che ane nrtya karase hum krpa karine'( I'm a Gujarati so I will be loud and dance as I please) avatar, Ishaana is a broken soul. Constantly having to take care of the dreadful situations that her irresponsible, alcoholic father gets himself and her family into, she has let the alter ego take over the vulnerable Ishaana. Pain has become second nature to her yet she hasn't let her heart grow cold from the experience. She is brave and cares deeply for her family doing whatever it takes, going to any lengths to protect them. However, she doesn't believe in hurting innocent nor does she take pleasure in breaking a genuine heart.

Ishaana is complicated and we are yet to truly understand the depth of her character but what we see is enough proof to say that she is one amazingly conceptualized, truly intriguing, never before seen female lead on Indian TV and Vrushika is doing an amazing job portraying her.

Dedicated Appreciation threads (ATs) for an actor/actress/couple of the show will be subject to specific rules here onwards. These rules will apply to all current ATs in the forum and any new ATs created in the future.

The word "Appreciate" in itself means to have a highly favorable opinion of someone or something. You are supposed to appraise the value of the work of the actors and express them in positive light. A thread where all the fans of the Actor/Character/Couple gather to discuss what they liked.In an essence Constructive criticism/Positive Outlook towards Actors/Characters/Jodi must prevail in these threads.Members must understand discussions are restricted in ATs. ATs are safe zones for the Actor/Jodi fans to exchange information without being subject to negativity. You have the main forum to present opinions which calls for discussions and debates. All discussions related to actor's performance, looks, style and personality can be confined to ATs and keep the discussion of story tracks to a minimum, when they do not directly relate to the actor/character of this AT , in particular when they imply stating negative opinions. However we do allow minimum chatting in ATs, provided it is related to this AT alone.Please refrain from bringing and discussing other general topics of the forum into the AT.Please refrain from any negative/bashful/insulting comments against any actor/jodi/characters. If members of an AT are caught discussing other actors/couples negatively, then AT will be held liable for it and may be subject to warnings & eventual closure/Ban as follows.Admins/Monitors of the AT (Those who are opening the AT will be called the Admins/Monitors) will report the troublemakers or problematic members of the AT to the DT in a timely manner, so that the AT/other genuine fans are not penalized. Here the Admins have a big responsibility and so we believe them to be totally unbiased as the whole responsibility of a AT is on them.

Lastly - When an AT reaches 150 pages, hit the report button and add this "AT reached 150 Pages", the DT will close it as we can not have two ATs open at the same time.

When the AT is about to end, please wait until the AT admin create the next. If the assigned admin for a certain AT isn't around, drop in a quick PM to one of the Development Team members to open the next AT, any other ATs which are made by any other members will be closed without further notice

If the DT sees more than 3 people breaking the AT rules constantly for a week, the effects of violations will kick start, which go as follows:

First Violation - Warning Note
2nd - Another Warning Note

3rd - Another Warning Note
4th - Close the AT for 24 hrs (1 Day)
5th - Close AT for 72 hrs (3 Days)

6th - Close AT for 1 week (7 Days)

7th - Get rid of AT completely from the Ishqbaaaz Forum/Shift it to Celebrity Fan Club Forum

Having said that, please do not assume that every report submitted by opposite fan group will be entertained. We will go through the reports and only if we find the report valid based on above rules, then we will speak to the Admins of the AT and action will be taken accordingly as stated above.

Hey Guys,

Since we were running out of time and had to come up with it in 2 days( like literally) couldn't really do that much. But for 2 days with office work I think we did a pretty decent job?😕 Will be updating the siggy for VM as Ishaana as well. That needs some touching up says our expert Lekhs 😛 so it will probably be up by tomorrow as well.

I am opening the AT for discussion now though! Enjoy and well don't have tooo much fun😉 😆

I was surprised she didn't have one in the D3 forum though!

I checked it out and found that there wasn't so yeah it's cool that we get to be the first forum to have her AT😃

Ya in D3 it was more of the main couple AT n both the leads of the couple were loved equally, so no individual Ats were needed.😊
