Sure why not. Age hide karne se hai what's the problem?

Like the poster above me said, it doesnt harm anyone. And the mentality nowadays is such that you are considered OLD as soon as you enter late 20s.

Doctor ke paas jate waqt bhi ye age hide karte hain or reveal it? Since it is important to reveal your correct age for some treatments.

when death comes it won't knock n ask hello how old are u can
i take u up so hiding age is of no use.😆
n yes i believe that a romantic lead must be ageless wrinkle free
surely i won't want a nice present to be wrapped inside a crumpled
gift wrap nor when i buy a new book with my money would i like the
cover page to be old n worn out.same with movies.as much as i respect
seniors but for any young love story i would not like to see sagging skins
romancing each other or running around in slow motion around trees n fountains.

They obviously do it to sustain a longer shelf life.

The recently released Baaghi starred Tiger Shroff (born in 1990) and Shraddha Kapoor (if she didn't pretend she was born in 1992 there would be "controversy" about working with a "younger" hero).

When Aishwarya Rai (born November 1973) was paired opposite Hrithik Roshan (born January 1974 = 2 months difference, it was a TALKING POINT!

But no one bats an eye lid between the age gap if she hero is older:

SRK-Kajol = 9 years

Karisma-Salman = 9 years

Madhuri-Anil = 9 years

Saif-Kareena = 11 years

Siddharth-Alia = 9 years

But star kids shouldnt even try because they easily get caught

Kat and PC indirectly have revealed they are lying about their age and kangu's passport copy went viral.

@bold... When has PC done that? Since Miss India/Miss World it's been well documented that she's born July 18, 1982 and has been aging accordingly so I don't understand when this happened.

Priyanka Chopra has never lied about her age. She was 17 at Miss World. This has never been disputed by any one.

Kangana Ranaut was 22-23 when she debuted with Gangster. She wasn't 18, as reports claim. She completed her schooling and was 18 when she moved out of himachal to pursue modelling in Delhi. And by the time Gangster released, she was 22-23 in 2006. Kangana is 32-33 now. Her wiki page says 28. That's not true.

Frankly shouldn't matter.. But there are few like kat and KR who create a web of lies about their entire life history that I find weird. Lying about age is kinda common among mango people too 😛
