However legitimate it is still against the law atleast in my neck of woods. The rules are very clear about it. She could follow her back, scream at her, get away from her, but once she laid her hands on her she is in the wrong. Laws are not based on emotions but facts beyond a reasonable doubts and intents.

I totally hear what you're saying but it's also animal instinct to protect your child. And that's how she reacted. I woulda slapped that bitch too if she tried to F with my 9yo son. 🤓
