The CVs of this show are the worst sort of cowards I have ever seen. They start off a track or a character with great pomp & ceremony but then immediately rush in to make it "all good". What they dont realize is that in making it all good they spoil the entire thing & make irreparable damage to their own characters.
1) Ragini: Most of the audience were waiting for Ragini to be punished. After all her sins, yes sins because crime is a small word for what she has done, they should have shown her suffering for it all. The suffering should have been to such a degree that even her most ardent hater would feel at least a twinge of sympathy for her & by the end everyone would agree that the poor girl has suffered enough & please just let her live now. Instead all is forgiven & everything is hunky dory & we are back to Swaraginiii Swaraginiii?
2) Swara: Swara was horrible, just horrible in the ML track. When her over confidence blew up in her face she should have been shown guilty, they should have shown Sanskaar & the Maheshwaris taking at least a little time to forgive her. But nope, one hug & a few tears & we are back to Pooja & more of her singing?š„±
3) Laksh: This man slapped his FIL, he slept with a woman for property, he married another woman. And once again in the next instant he is forgiven by all & RagYa are together?
4) Kavya: THIS WOMAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN POSITIVE. I would have loved to see how AP or Swara then try to prove that Laksh was wrong in leaving Ragini for Kavya. But nope! Lets take the easy way out as usual & make her a criminal like Ragini too. So logic is simple. Dono biwiya criminal hai toh pehli wali ko kyun choda?š
5) Kavita: IMO this was one character who was introduced too early. But chalo introduce kar diya toh uska kiya kya? Once again a criminal? Why couldnt they show Kavita as a normal person & Sanskaar chooses Swara over Kavita & Kavita leaves in a dignified manner thus proving to Ragini that self respect matters & there is a life even after being rejected? But nope we had another pehla fyaar addictš¤¢
6) Sahil: If they had to go the obsession way why did they let off Swara so easily? Now dont get me wrong, but if you want an obsession track you better make it look like an obsession. Sahil was so incredibly stupid that he came across as a petulant child rather than an obsessed lover. They rip off of great movies like Darr & then ruin them to THIS! Why? Copy to at least dhang se karoš¤¢
7) Shomi's pregnancy: A woman who stood up for her illegitimate child in the 80s cannot do so now? Especially since she has her husband's support this time? Why the F is Daadi so important? Instead off letting out her mother's flat to any tom dick & harry why not go & stay there?
Its a pattern really! The writers of this show just do not have the guts to actually do anything substantial with their characters. Hence there is no suspense, no dread of "what if?" left. We all know that NOTHING will happenš„± Anyone can do anything, we will be back to Poojas & singing & dancing aimlessly in a few weeks. They will just use big names of big movies & fool the audience into believing that a great track is coming up & then back to the usual nonsenseš„±
