Aishwarya was perfect.

But like mentioned in the second post: Mahima Chaudhry would have been great too.

I don't know whether Paro is supposed to earth shattering beauty or a bubbly girl next door. If it was second, Rani would have suited. Whether the bubbly character in the beginning or the painful eyes at the end or matching dance steps with Madhuri, she could have done them all. Anyway, Bhansali knows the art of presenting his heroines. Everyone including Priyanka have looked stunning. Probably, Rani also would have looked equally good.

Doubt, Juhi or Sonali would have matched to Madhuri in dance. Not saying, Aish matched her. At least, she is better dancer than Juhi or Sonali. Juhi did not take up Karishma's role in Dil To Pagal Hei, which required her to be good dancer.

That is NOT the reason Juhi turned down KK's role in DTPH. She didn't want to play second fiddle to Madhuri. Juhi has decent dancing skills, as she was being trained in kathak as a child, but discontinued later.
