Dev is a selfless character, whose first and foremost priority is his mom and his three sisters. He could be feeling guilty that he is seeking happiness for himself also, and out of this guilt, he is hiding his relationship with Sonakshi from his mom. Just my POV.
Exactly that is my opinion too, Dev needs to understand that falling in love is not a crime.
Falling in love.Having some one in ur life for you.Does not make U a selfish person.Dev needs to understand it.What he did was nothing wrong.In his guilt trip he will punish both him n Sona more.
