Hi , I personally think that the Love Story plot is a bit outdated and over done . I for one did not like the book or the movie .. Not because I do not have a romantic bone but because I felt it was an unashamed attempt to strum your heart strings ...

But please ignore me on my view.

Mish in my opinion is suited for anything that is intense - be it a love story or a tragedy . I hope he gets a superb break into the movies to show case his talent . Or maybe Indian television should mature up to come up with good content .

Hi Prem , agree Mishal can take any role and give super performance just for my curiosity I want to ask a question , which recent film you saw and liked the male leads character ? top 1 any actor big or small young or old just something in the character that was really impressive.

Tahera , I don't follow any star or actor blindly I like the roles they play . Eg, Amitabh b he is superb but he too at times disappoints .

In the new age I love the roles Shahid Kapoor does like Kameeney or Haider and latest Udta Punjab which I think Mish could do beautifully .

Then I like Manoj Bajpai as an actor .

Of the star sons only Ranbir Kapoor stands out ... Rest are rubbish .

Not sure if I answered your question.

Hi Nutty
I'd read the book long back and seen the movie as well and loved both... though the book made a greater impression on me than the movie.
In the movie Ryan O'Neal did a wonderful job and I have no doubt if given a chance Mishal will do true justice in a role which is as sensitive and emotional. He is a versatile actor and till now whatever little I've seen of his acting , for me he has excelled in all the roles he has taken up... so I would like to see him in the myriad shades of different kinds of characters.

Hi prem thanks for replying, my question was which role you were impressed by recently? if SK in UP then i must see it , he has done some good work same with RK.
I am a fan of MB i watch as many of his movies as I can , although Traffic wasn't all that great Aligarh was better. also same as you I go more for story and acting then the star cast... koi bhi ho acting acchi karta ho ...story main suit karay.
