Preekar's "love" story seems to be lost! Frivolous narrative! The only reason I have decided to ignore it is because I am waiting to see Shraman together! As long as Preekar don't ruin Shraman...I am okay. When Shravan said...Preeti is perfect for Pushkar...I just laughed out loud! Damn...Pushkar deserves better...even after his character assassination!

Today when he sat there...smiling after hearing the destination wedding idea...I felt like slapping him through the screen! Like seriously dude...did your brain freeze or what? He looked like a smiling idiot! Preekar are pure dumb for the lack of a better word! If this marriage happens, it is bound to flounder in the future!

I hope Sumo's brain does not freeze tomorrow...I am rather hopeful about good things to come for Shraman!

Pushkar's inconsistency
I don't understand what has come upon him. He is simply NOT the same person I've been watching since the start of EDKV. I think I speak for all when I say that Pushkar has always been portrayed as the voice of reason, the guy who always had it together even in the direst of situations. How can the very person think it'd be a good idea to kiss his girl on the rooftop of her own house, in broad daylight, in perfect view of her conservative family?
Yes, we all get "urges" when we're near our special someone but what about common sense? Did it jump off the terrace?

And what about his voice? He could stand undeterred against his Mother when he thought she was wronging Shravan by snatching his rights to inherit the Law firm but all he could muster up was a mere "Mammi meri baat toh-" when she insulted the family of his beloved?

I'm sorry, but this is not love. This is a mockery of the notion of love.

What's wrong with him? This isn't the Pushkar I used to adore! By far, the most upsetting fact for me about this track is the character assassination of Pushkar.

I think she's a very weak character. I have failed to see any depth in her since the start. Leaving that aside, it took just one kiss? Just one kiss to go from "we're nothing but friends" to "we're more than friends"?
I don't understand if I should laugh or be mad at the ridiculousness of it all.
Itni jaldi toh meri laptop bhi start nahi hoti jitni jaldi inki love story age badh gayi!

The Good

Having said that, I kind of am eager to see how ShraMan's story unfolds from here. So, the CVs have felt the need to brew a MU between the lead pair to let their story progress. I have no qualms against it, honestly.
Am I nervous? Very.
But I TRUST in ShraMan. I know they'll get through anything life throws at them.
So, I'm in for the journey, for all their ups and all their downs.

I do, however, have a problem with the way the CVs have decided to go about it.
Was it necessary to force a logic-defying love story? I don't think so.
Okay, even if I let that slide, was it necessary to break the consistency of Pushkar's character? What's the rush? How much screen time would it have taken to show him stand up against the wrong when its supposed to matter the most?

I know I just typed nonsense for minutes. I'm really sorry for anyone who wasted their time reading this. I just feel disappointed and thought typing it out would help me get a decent sleep tonight.

Just to clarify, I don't mean for this post to be a negative rant. I still trust the CVs. I'm eagerly waiting to watch the coming episodes. I just found a fault and thought of pointing it out.

No Payall.. u are absolutely right what u said...nothing is nonsense dear. I had the same thoughts... khair preeti se to pehele se koi umeed nahi thi she was a side character for me...jis ke hone ya na hon ne se faraq nahi padta.. but pushkar had been a strong character...

Dude, you've been with your family for your entire life and it doesn't matter to you if their reputation is sabotaged? Oh but you can shed big, fat tears because you can't marry your 5-days-old lover. The same lover who wasn't man enough to defend your pride. Her idiocy baffles me! 😆

And it's a shame the CVs spent all these months building a character as strong and lovable as Pushkar only to let him fade away. 😒

The contrast you mentioned between ShraMan and PreeKar is worth a thought. I didn't think along those lines before. Its very true. Theirs is love in its truest form. PreeKar is a joke. 😛

Yeah! She forgot her family, those who were with her through thick and thin. Nanu, who openly agreed to go and visit the malhotras for her. She forgot about all of them. Such a selfish girl. She has proved that for her own needs, she can sacrifice her parents too. I wanted to punch her when she started crying! All she does is squint her eyes and start crying and all that in front of Suman. Ugh.

And I know, CVs butchered Pushkar within minutes. I wonder why they did that though? I guess Shravan got his senses back, so they didn't want two sensible people on the show? Idk!

The contrast between the two couples is what I noticed! It really stands out because one couple is just beautiful in every single way and I've no words of frustration left for the other couple.

Pushkar has been a disappointment but everything is leading up to THIS.Its inevitable. For eg, when Sumo wanted to talk, she herself picked up Shravan from his office

And now ehen Shravan is going to confess, what does he drop? A mere message? 😕

So the MU is bound to happen.😭 We should take a back seat and try to enjoy what is up for us.

Advices can be easily thrown at everyone but following it oneself is not easy it takes a person with integrity character that makes sumo and Shravan who they are no drama to the family yes between themselves they are 😆

I agree with U .What u said about Pushkar is right...he dont have guts to stand against his family.His character is not butchered by CVS..I have never seen him opening his mouth in any situation publicly.

I dont really think Pushkars characterisation was spoiled..He always takes a backseat when it comes to facing problems..He tries to tell his Mamma but cant stand against her..he advises his bhaiya but cant stand for him...He's gud in words but not in actions...Whereas Shravan has been a strong one when it comes to his loved ones facing problems...He wud go against anybody for them..And Cvs are trying 2 shw us how a relationship works...If Preekar breaks they can easily move on in life whereas Shraman wud be the opposite..

I agree 100% with you. They showed Pushkar whom we all loved as an insipid guy who is a "Yes Mum", "No Mum" type. I would never marry a spineless guy like that, leave alone fall in love with him. (This from a woman who is married to a Mumma's boy. My husband loves his Mother, he is not a push over for her. If she is wrong, he will say so. The last thing he would do is let her insult me or my family and get away with it. Just like I wouldn't let my family do the same to him or his folks! THAT is what true love is. Not the "mute" type. True love is not romance, it's how you are there for the other. Literally Ek Duje Ke Vaaste!).

I also hate how Preeti just fell for him just coz they kissed? I guess we forget though that nearly a month passed since that kiss when Sumo was in hospital and Pushkar was there every day supporting Preeti. So she would have started to soften towards him even more. I get that part. But it all seemed a bit rushed, coz it didnt take a lot of screen time to show them go from "Kiss" to "Soulmates".

As for SHRAMAN...even I am HELL nervous about how this new MU will fare. How Suman will navigate the "rejecting Shravan for her family" dilemma. This is not just about her family this is also about Shravan's family. She has to reject him coz his Father has rejected her. She knows how Shravan feels about his Dad. He would never marry someone his Father didnt give his blessings to. So because of that, Suman may bow out so that Shravan does not have to choose between her and his Dad! THAT is true love! Misguided as it, that is what true love looks like, and it breaks my heart even thinking of the heartbreak these two will face very soon. My Shravan...waiting in that cafe with his heart on his sleeve and being greeted with silence? Dil hi tooth gaya mera! 💔😭

I. Completely agree with u man...

Its not that the ones like me who r sounding positive are not angry at CVs or are happy with everything they are showing... yes we do hv our issues but at this point, the strength of Shraman is so poignant , their love is coming across as so beautiful and powerful that for their sake , i m kind of letting go of these blemishes...

Totally agree with u on the Bad... the way they hv butchered Pushkar is so unforgivable.. he was my most favorite character if this show yaar. Yes the voice if reason...just to progress the story they did not have to butcher and sacrifice his character ... SO NOT HAPPPY 😡

About preeti,i never cared about her since the beginning so the fact that shes shown like that has not quite affected me, she has been quite shallow since the beginning...

Coming to the Good... yes thats the reason im still patient and still going on about the show... Shraman. ... how confident and secure is Shravan these days... the guy is love... his each and every emotion, his each and every action is exuding love these days... From caring to Standing infront of his father... to convincing him.. to reassuring his love.. to still being hopeful that his father will agree.. to his anticipation.. to his arguments with his father... to his little chivalry.. to those beautiful eye locks... watching love in each and every frame is so splendid... that it makes me forget whatever else is happening around them...

We have always seen Adult Sumo confident about her love... but somehow that side of Shravan was missing... and now seeing that Side of Shravan is making me go mad...

Can they both stay as strong during the Heartbreak phase ... i only wish

Preeti did take up the selfish traits of her mother but I wish she had taken up a quarter of the sense of pride too. Yes, Manju and Pride are like two parallel lines but even she has enough brains to understand when they're being insulted and call out on Pushkar's spineless behaviour.
The entire Preekar track had been hard to digest for me since the very beginning. 🤔
