Prachi Desai
Sony TV's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is in its most exciting leg. In its final stages, the competition is getting tougher by the day and the remaining contestants are fighting tooth-and-nail to reach that coveted position.

However, Prachi Desai, who re-entered the show via the wild-card entry, is one contestant who is playing it on her own terms. For a number that required her to wear cabaret costume, she refused to wear it as she was not comfortable with it.

Our source says, "While all other contestants were pretty comfortable wearing revealing costumes, Prachi had a problem and she simply refused to wear the cabaret costume.

We tried to convince her that we would give her fish net stockings if she were so uncomfortable. Initially Prachi had no problems but on the day of the final shoot she put her foot down.

However, it did backfired because the judges had some objection to her costume and passed snide comments. She has been doing this as she wants to protect her image of a bahu; another reason she was uncomfortable wearing skimpy clothes was the presence of her parents on the sets."

Prachi justifies her stand and says, "Every week we have different themes and this time it was the cabaret theme but I wore 'normal' clothes.

Frankly, I am a not comfortable wearing revealing outfits. Everyone has the right to wear what he or she is comfortable in. If I am uncomfortable wearing these costumes then it will show in my performance."

Speaking about the judges' reaction, she says, "I don't know what prompted their remark. But as I said, my idea was to wear a costume that I am comfortable in. It has got nothing to do with my parents' presence on the show, it's entirely my decision not to wear certain clothes."

I don't know the whole situation. But why was it either a choice between cabaret or normal clothes? She could have given something like a more modest cabaret costume or something a little longer with more fabric. There are lots of options. Why were they not exercised? 😕

I agree with you !!!

Prachi + Skimpy clothes = Uncomfortable

Uncomfortable + Dance = Bad performance

so what im trying to say is that if Prachi wears uncomfortable clothes how can she give a good performance !!!

Angelrockz 😳
