If jagan knows about the secret then why can he not expose amba??

He had suspected strongly that it was a girl when the child was born. He tried to prove it in many ways but Amba managed to outwit him each time. During the sixth day ceremony, the child was given a milk bath in front of the family and villagers. On that day, Amba's brother switched the girl for a boy, because he had heard the grandmother say that all newborns look the same. After that, Jagan gave up his attempts to prove it was a girl and started focusing on killing the child :|

Okay thank you...i read a post that said he actually knows the truth but can't prove it so was confused :/

I missed 2-3 episodes in between, but based on the episodes I have seen, Jagan stopped thinking about the gender of the child after that sixth day ceremony 🤔 After that day, all his plans revolved around killing the child. Even after the 7-year leap, he wants Mannu to go to school just so that he gets a chance to kill the kid. But I think the gender secret might come up again soon, and then Jagan might go back to his old plans..
