The way Radharani sat down with Ishwari all ready to open the pandora box with all evil filled mind!!! Even before she opened her mouth my heart felt heavy feeling bad for Ishwari...

A mother who has been true to her role in every way, who has been a wonderful human being, who has always thought good and only good things for her people🤗... Now has to face the truth which has been cruelly communicated through a bitter mouth 🥺!! And about Radharani as a mother, less said is better !!!

What a day has come to Ishwari!!! To know that she has failed big time to understand her loving son's love-filled eyes... And to know that her loving son hasn't shared with her about his love-filled heart fluttering for Sonakshi...

Time has come to know her son... But not at all in the right way!!! Breaking the bubble in a worst possible way!!!🥺

You have captured it all. A mother who fails to read her son change , A son flushed in his first tryst with romance oblivious to what is happening around him, a girl caught in between for no fault of hers and Radha Rani taking advantage of the situation. Such a realistic take where no one is wrong. When Dev comes to know by his mothers actions his guilt will make him break up with Sona. Sona just caught in a tough situation. The ball will be in Easwari court to put aside her Ego and accept the girl for the sake of her sons happiness..then the journey begins

Very true..I felt so bad for her...cant blame Dev as well, because when it came to Natasha's proposal Ishwari gave him the freedom to take decision and told him as far as marriage is concerned it has to be his decision and she wont be a part of it. Also told him that in this case to think ONLY about himself ...thats exactly what he is doing now...following what his mom told him.

So true. It's sad that Ishwari's first exposure to Dev and Sona's relationship will be through Radharani's bitter lens. And yet, I also hold Ishwari responsible for the shock she will eventually face. If Radharani is determined to read something crude and vulgar into Dev and Sona's interactions, then Ishwari is equally determined to see Dev as an infallible paragon of virtue, incapable of any kind of vulnerability. Dev is very aware of this expectation, and it is what has driven him to hide things from her in the past, despite their supposedly transparent relationship. Like with the sleeping pills, he does anything he has to do to maintain that image of himself in Ishwari's mind - becuase he knows she is entirely dependent on it for her own identity.

That's a lot of pressure for a parent to put on a child. It means that he is never allowed to make mistakes, or even show inconsistency, without his mother's pride coming into question. And now RR's questioning has forced Ishwari to articulate this which means that, even though Dev has done nothing shameful in the true sense, any involvement with Sona will be read as guilt and therefore a blow to Ishwari's pride.

Certainly Ishwari would feel betrayed, her pride Dev in love and she had no idea if someone else other then
Radha Rani found out it would have been better . And if Dev himself had spoken to his mother the blow would not be painful. But now the mother in Ishwari will surface with her insecurities

True... Ishwari didn't get to read her son at all... During Natasha period she was eagerly watching him to say anything anything at all about their relationship... She was looking at him intently to hear him share his confusions about the to-be formed relationship and how it might impact his relationship with his mother... Hoping to share the same restlessness as that of hers with him... But Dev had complete different form of confusion then... When Ishwari was taking a back seat in helping him decide, he determined to go with the flow and decide for himself... He didn't share with her about the lack of emotional connect that he had with Natasha then..

And the moment Natasha thing got cancelled, the tight breath that was holding Ishwari was released all of a sudden.. She's completely free of her restlessness no matter how and why it happened... She was completely in support of his decisions... Giving the confidence to her son to go with the flow again and decide for his own...

Assumption.. Assumption.. Both have started assuming about the understanding for each other...

I'm actually quite sad about the whole situation. Neha was proposed by Ranveer earlier and it was only some time later that this came out in the open but Ishwari did not feel her pride to be at stake coz I guess she is only besotted with Dev. Her daughters are secondary and I admit I hate her for this. I'm the mother of a daughter and I just cannot take this special love for a son over a daughter. She is ok with whatever Neha wanted which is a match of love to probably ease out her guilt as Neha has been V vocal of her hurt all through out. But what about Dev... He has been the silent sufferer too... Probably the most as he had no scope to fail... He just had to, had to succeed for his mom and sisters. It's like a pedestal he has been put on and there is a constant need in the eyes of his family specially his mom to see him there... So he bears everything, keeps everything in and does not say it out. If he does not get to say such things and no one even realises coz everyone is so happy with the external facade then why sharing of love for a girl that too in so early stages so imp to be brought out in the open . I'm sure Dev will tell her soon.
Love does not happen with calculated moves, it just happens and one realises in sometime.
Being a parent I would like to believe that my child can err, that there is scope to make mistakes and that he would not fall in my eyes if he did something I thought he could not have. I don't get this feeling in case of Ishwari sorry. The children will bear the brunt of this pride and her favorite child shall suffer again alone having no where to go.

@push pull this assumption is what is going to tear all of them apart. Easwari assumption about Dev, Dev assumption about his mom accepting Sona because it is his choice and being torn apart that his assumption was wrong and poor Sona in the middle of it all. You write so well that I am compelled to reply too

Yes.. If the blame game starts here then there is no end to it... And if Dev/Ishwari start blaming each other for getting disappointed then they can never resolve the problems coming their way because of their expectations from each other... There is no blame but only growing changes in their relationship...

Dev did it all with all his heart and mind.. He has assumed all these responsibilities on his own as good son... And he sure is happy about being that... He has taken the role to run the family for his mom and no way he's gonna accuse Ishwari of putting him through the pressure... He's not that kind of a son who will repent on what all he had to go through to get here... He will only be hurt for hurting his mother unintentionally... That's why Dev is special ... If he's not then he will be one among the many men who shares silly jokes about the mistakes of being married and caught between two women.. only to hide their lack of ability to balance it out... 😆
