Avantika is that you? Well honey, I think (its only my opinion) that all the Gauri-Hiten fans (with the exception of a few pessimistic people like me) had very high expectations from their kid. And because of those high expectations, I am sure no one would have been able to meet the benchmarks that we have set for Karan-Nandini's kid no matter how good looking or how immensely talented he/she was. Be honest to yourself while answering this question.
I respect your opinion but please I entreat you to stop comparing Manthan and Laksh with the guy. These two characters have definitely managed to entrench their popularity amongst the masses but don't forget, they have been given adequate footage for accomplishing this very feat. On the other hand, this poor guy is only two episodes old. It is unfair to compare him with characters whose span of presence has lasted for a much longer time period. Whatever margin he is given to showcase his flair, I think he has done justice to his scenes........no one can blame him for acting lame or hamming or ending up making a fool out of himself in an attempt to sound 'cool' or doing any other regular acting mistake that inexperienced actors do....if anything, he was clearly confident and never once did he falter in his discourse or did anything that made me go 'what the hell was that'? As it is, this very phrase is my favorite dialogue that I chant endlessly during Kasauti and Kyunki, thanks to the immensely lame things that the characters of these soaps do every now and then........
And sweetie, please don't expect anything as sweet as an instance where their kid would play a role in getting them back.......its quite a fantasy, which I am sure Ekta would never show........expecting so much would only hurt us in the end..........as it is, Ekta's Unique Selling Proposition is to give the audience what they DON'T WANT so that they stick to their tv screens and continue watching her serials in a futile hope of watching what they desire someday..........just like we are.....

somehow i think this guy lacks the charisma that laksh or even manthan has, again my view, dont know for sure as he might b a good actor and we ll forget everything. he does have attitude, but will he b able to make us laugh and cry with him, as karan nandini were able to do?? i hope so.
i d decided loooooong back that i wud love KN child , however he looks, acts etc etc, so i liked this one, but to b frank, i was expecting someone who wud give GHT a run for their money , in the looks department. but i guess its impossible to get some1 like that, at least till GHT s real life kid comes of age and starts acting !!!!!
