Right from the day when Abhay and Asad got killed, one thing that disturbs me is the thought that how we as Indians sacrificed. Yes, I know that often situation demands great sacrifices but what misuse of lives!
Think of the serial and two lively, lovely, active and genuinely pure souls got destroyed in a span of maybe an hour. And I am not even speaking of the other 40 lives that got lost!
Abhay is an impartial police officer who takes his duties seriously, be it for his family, his special one or for his country. Really, a dream man in every sense!
Asad, though very young and restless but he has the needed spark and promise. If he would have escaped the untimely demise, he would at least have been a good human being.
But both got premature death and with them the country, the society and their families lost a lot. Even the people who are not directly associated with them have been affected because as we all know that genuine human beings' are hard to find and each of their presence, wherever they may be makes lot of differences.
I even cannot ignore Yash. Yes, what he did with Asad is unpardonable but at the end of the whole thing, he too died, infact martyred. He can be a cheat, a liar but as a human being with numerous follies, it does make sense that he failed to raise above his innate traits. But remember, when he confronts Iftikar after the later was trying to flee in his car, Yash said that he does hate Asad but he hates people like Iftikar "kayi guna jyada".
At the end of the day, he is an army man and a commando with his patriotism intact. Yes, it got a bit haywire in between but he carefully assimilated the whole thing. He could have just killed Iftikar (as he successfully deprived Iftikar off his gun and remote) and bask in its glory but no, he choose the difficult path. He knew his past just one act' overshadowed each of his good work that very night and he might have to face the music. The young man chose to repent his misdeed by dying!
Yes, he will be a name to be remembered and will get the promised President's Bravery Medal. But after you are dead, does anything really mattered?
All the three men - Asad, Abhay and Yash died as heroes and will be awarded, all right but who will fill up the gaps in the life of their near ones, in the society they represent and most importantly in their country. Don't we all need people like them in our family, society and country because they are the very people who still install some faith of goodness. But their life was cut short and with their death, we lost brilliant, inspirational and promising young men who would have been of such importance and promise for the country.
Some people will say that this is merely a serial. But being Indian, we encounter with this type of news on a daily basis. Some army men killed in Kashmir, in North-east, in fighting the Maoists, died in submarine mishap, killed as his fighter jet crashed.
Coupled with this, who knows how many Asad dies as unsung, unknown entities! Most of them don't have their "Freedom" with them.
We, the rising super-power and what helplessness! Young boys from simple families dying everyday and leaving behind emptiness, which can never be filled!
Oh! What a waste!đđ
