Arnav: I was just asking Sanchi whether the ladoo was good or not. Right biwi?

Sanchi gave a fake smile.

Mami: Laddoo is yummy. Phati saree I have to agreewa that you are a good halwai!!!

Sanchi gritted her teeth. Arnav smirked. Khushi smiled.

In Arnav's mom's house,

Khushi and Arnav were sitting in the garden. There was mere silence between them. They saw a person coming towards them.

Arnav and Khushi both were expressionless.

Garima smiled at them. Garima showed some sad expression because she wasn't happy with Arnav's second marriage.

Garima: How are you both? How is your wife?

Garima taunted Arnav indicating that she wasn't happy that he married again.

Khushi: We need some answers from you.

Garima was surprised when she saw their sad expression.

Garima: Any problem? Why are you tensed?

Arnav: Did you have any child from my father?

Without wasting anytime Arnav threw the question at her. He tried to control his anger as much as possible.

Garima started sweating.

Garima: What are you saying?

Khushi showed her the letter and locket.

Tears flowed from Garima's eyes.

Garima: Yes it is true that I and your dad had a child.

Arnav was prepared for this.

Arnav: Then why did you hide this from us. Why didn't you tell us?

It was your dadi who brought all the truth in front of you on your wedding day. I had no courage that day to tell about my child. Because I had seen my Khushi, drenched with tears, and heartbroken. My daughters still supported me that night when your dadi was accusing me. I had seen her waiting for you helplessly. Her marriage was almost broken, if you hadn't appeared in time, bitua. And in that situation, with half the past you were so heartbroken, and I was scared that if had told you the whole truth then you wouldn't marry Khushi. I didn't want that to happen. I wanted my Khushi to be happy, I wanted her marriage to take place.

Khushi had tears in eyes.

I didn't want her to get a tag called illegitimate and neither did I want her to die without food. That's why I left her in the orphanage.

Garima cried. Arnav gulped his throat listening to the harsh truth. Khushi also had tears in her eyes.

Garima: And left my letter with the locket and a doll. Then I shifted to Lucknow, to my cousin's home. I stayed with him for a month till I found a job. My bhabi did everything that could hurt me. I finally found a job and then settled in a rented house. And then I met your bauji. He is such a good person, that I couldn't refuse him when he asked me to marry him and nurse his daughter Payal. No, our daughter Payal. I got a good family. I left all my past behind. I didn't want to hurt them with my ugly past. My cousin and bhabi went to Ujjain then, that's why I never contacted them till today. I am sorry for hiding all this.

Arnav and Khushi sighed, understanding that Garima didn't do this purposely. Khushi hugged Garima.

Arshi entered RM. They were shocked seeing the decorations in the house.

Khushi: Nanheji anything special??

Nk: How can you forget Khushiji?? Tomorrow is garbachaut??

Khushi spilled the water which she was drinking, when she heard Nani. She started hiccupping. She looked at Arnav helplessly.
