Arnav: She wont fast, that's it!!!

Mami: hello hi bye bye whats wrong bith you bitua? I know you don't believe in all these rituals but every married woman keeps this fast for her husband.

Nk(shyly): Nannav if you feel so bad then even you can accompany Khushiji in fasting. You know I always fast on karvachaut so that I get a good wife.

Arnav(gritting his teeth): WHAT THE!!!! Did I ask your suggestion Nk? Khushi will not fast.

Nani: But why???

Arnav(frustrated): Because..(but then he stopped remembering their secret plan and he shouldn't inform anyone about her pregnancy)

Mami: becauj

Arnav: Because its..(he was searching for words) its cheating!!!

He complained like a small kid. Nani, Mami, Nk and Akash burst out laughing. Anjali was listening their conversation from far.

Yeh kya bekaar bahana banaya hai tumne chotte??(what kind of stupid excuse have you made chotte?)

She mentally cursed her brother.

Arnav: If Khushi must fast then even Sanchi needs to.

Mami: At one point you are right bitua. Its cheating according to me also. But biwi no.2 is pregnant and we cant help it, if something happens to her. Fasting is not good for her baby.

Arnav(thinking): And if something happens to my Khushi, you people will surely need help!!!

Sanchi(faking a sad face): It is my first Karvachaut and I cant even fast for my husband. I would surely fast if I wasn't pregnant.

Anjali(thinking): In acting, she is the grandma of Khushiji!!! If she was in any auditions then right now she could surely be a successful actress.

Arnav: Khushi wont fast because she has weakness.

Now the whole family was surprised.

Khushi looked at Arnav confused.

All: Really Khushiji?? Arent u well?

Khushi(staring and murmuring at Arnav): Really?

Arnav winked an eye.

Khushi: Yeah yeah really!!

Nani: Bitiya you must take care. From today I will ask hp to make palak sabji everyday. I wont force you to fast, its completely your decision. Do you want to fast bitiya?

Arnav signaled a no to Khushi. Khushi looked at Naniji. She didn't want to disappoint this elderly woman who had always showered her love on her. She had never treated her badly.

Khushi: I will fast.

Nani: Are yous sure bitiya, no force from our end. If you aren't well then you need not fast.

Khushi knew that Nani was saying all thes half-heartedly and she didn't want Nani to be sad. Arnav gritted his teeth.

Mami: Look, she loves Arnav bitua so much that she is fasting for him apart from her weakness. Pyaar ki wajah se wrath rakh rahi haiwa.

Arnav(murmured): Pyaar nahi zabardasti!!

Nk: Did you say anything?

Arnav nodded a no.

Arnav: What was the need to agree? Couldn't you deny?

She looked at her hyper hubby. She knew that he wasn't in a good mood.

Khushi: I didn't want to disappoint Naniji.

Arnav: Damn it!! Don't you care for your baby? You aren't fasting and that's final!!

Khushi: But Arnavji, I can atleast please her by acting to fast.

Arnav: You think it's a game Khushi? Its about your health. Be serious.

Khushi: Arnavji nothing will happen to me! I have fasted before, and this time I can act.

Arnav: Who is concerned for you Khushi? I am worrying for my poor baby. You fast or don't fast I don't care, but my baby shouldn't be hungry.

He teased her. Khushi's mouth became o shaped.

KhushI: You don't care for me right, then I am surely going to fast!!! Laad Governor Singh Raizada!! I thought you were all concerned for me, but you, now I m surly fasting and this time no LG will stop me.

Arnav: Khushi..khushi..stop. I was just joking and you took it seriously. I do care for you. I was just teasing you. Ok tomorrow you just act and u aren't fasting in real. Ok?

Khushi(angrily): Ok!!!!

Arnav kissed her forehead.

It was already 8 in the morning and yet Khushi hadn't eaten anything. It was karvachaut. Arnav had been to office. Sanchi was eating mango. Mami and Khushi's stomach started growling. Their mouth was watering. Sanchi was making sound also while eating.

Suddenly Anjali came there.

Anjali: Sanchiji if you want to eat mango then eat in your room. Mami and Khushiji are fasting. You must not make them realise their hunger.

Sanchi: Ok Di

Sanchi(thinking): I will look at you later Anjali!!!

Sanchi went to her room with the mango.

Mami: Sausuma..see that biwi no.2, eats mango in front of us and tempts us also.

Nani: I will talk to her later. You don't worry.

It was afternoon. Anjali went to Khushi's room with some fruits. She made sure that nobody saw her.

Anjali: Khushiji eat some fruits. You need to gain some energy.

Khushi took the bowl and was about to eat the fruit but she heard somebody's footsteps and hid her bowl under the bed.

Mami entered the room.

Khushi(to Anjali): I don't want to talk to you and neither I want your sorry. Please go from here.

Anjali saw Mami and understood that Khushi was acting. Anjali made a sad face and went from there.

Mami: hello hi bye bye phatii saree, take this lehenga, Sasuma told me to give this to you. She said you must wear this tonight.

Khushi: Thank you Mamiji.

She was waiting for Mami to go.

Mami: Hello hi bye bye phati saree will u come with me to parlour? Afterall I need a facial, I need to shine in the functionwa. I didn't want to take u but ka kare hamri majboori hai. Nobody is free to come with me wa. So come.

Khushi forcibly went to parlour with Mami.

Arnav(on phone): Did u eat anything?

Khushi: What the !!! Mamiji took me to parlour and she took 2 hours for her facial. Arnavji I am damn hungry please do something.

Arnav was damn worried for Khushi.

Arnav: I will do something.

Everyone saw Aman coming to RM with a shoulder bag.

Sanchi: Aman, what happened why r u here?

Aman: Nothing, I wanted these papers to be signed. Sir asked me to give this to Khushi bhabi.

Mami: Let me call her.

Aman: No no aunty, I will go there and get the signatures.

Sanchi felt it weird.

Sanchi: Why?

Aman: Those are confidential documents and I cant show the papers to anyone other than Khushi bhabi. It might take some time, because she has to read each and every word.

Sanchi: But Arnavji has read it right, then why again?

Aman: You cant predict what can happen. There are some cheats who exchange the papers. Why does it bother you, if she reads the papers? What is the harm?

Now that was an insult for Sanchi. She kept quiet.

Nani: Yeah you are right beta. Go and get your signatures. We must not be careless regarding documents and papers, that too confidentials.

Now when Nani agreed to Aman, Sanchi felt as if it was an invisible slap for her.

Khushi: Amanji you here?

Aman: Firstly lock the door.

Khushi agreed to Aman.

Aman opened his bag and gave her a parcel.

Khushi took a smell.

Khushi: Biriyani?

Aman smiled.

Aman: Don't tell anyone that I came here to give you this biriyani. I have lied to everyone that I have come to take your sign on the confidential documents.

Khushi laughed.

Khushi: Thanks Aman. I hope nobody doubted you.

Aman: Sanchi did!! But don't worry, I have answered her in her own style. You have this food.

Khushi opened the parcel and ate the biriyani.

It was night, 7.00 pm. There was Karvachaut function in RM. All the wives were dressed in a red lehenga.

Arnav: You alright?

He looked at his beautiful wife, who had worn the red lehenga with golden border. She looked like a bride. The matching jewelleries and the sindoor make her look perfect.

Khushi: Yeah Arnavji. I am sad that I couldn't fast for you but still I m cheating on DM, by celebrating the function.

Arnav(cupped her face): You are carrying our child, and DM understands that her Khushi would never break anyone's heart. She understands you. So don't worry.

Khushi hugged him.

Garima entered RM with Buaji, Bauji and Payal. Nani and Mami welcomed them. Sanchi also saw Garima. Her smile vanished. She remembered what she had gone through in childhood. Her eyes were filled with hatred for her mother.

Arnav and Khushi also saw them. Khushi went to her parents and took their blessings.

Suddenly the lights went off.

Everyone: Why is it so dark?

Akash: Bhai I will say hp.

Arnav: Ok.

Khushi had caught Arnav's hands tightly, due to her fear of darkness. The lights came, but Garima was missing.

Khushi: Amma kaha hai? (Where is amma?)

Mami: Hello hi bye bye, even biwi no. 2 is not here.
