Actor Varun Dhawan is choosing calm over chaos as social media chatter heats up ahead of the release of Border 2. At a recent promotional event for the film, Varun addressed the trolling directed at him even before audiences had watched the movie, making it clear that online noise does not define his journey or his choices as an actor.

"I believe that you shut down the noise and just let your work do the talking. Yeh sab cheezein chalti rehti hai (All these keep happening). It doesn't really matter. Main iske liye kaam karta hoon. Beyond the trolling, Varun spoke passionately about his faith in Border 2. He stressed that making a good film is his only priority and that box office numbers or early opinions do not guide his choices. According to him, when viewers sit in a theatre, they leave behind preconceived ideas and simply want to be moved and entertained.
Support From the Border Family
Amid the criticism, Varun also received public support from Suniel Shetty, who was part of the original Border released in 1997. Suniel pointed out that people are reacting without having seen the full film and expressed confidence that Varun would leave a strong impact in Border 2.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 revisits the emotional and patriotic backdrop of the 1971 India–Pakistan war. The film features a large ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Medha Rana and Mona Singh.
