Here Sona and Dev spent their entire night remembering their only " One" night.
Today
Ishwari Niwas ..
Dev didn't slept entire night.He eyes were swollen and now he is having slight fever has well because of over thinking or would say it was too much for him digest all the information in one go.
Ishwari : Dev !! Aaja breakfast kar le!!
Dev: Nahi Maa !! Office mein kaam hai!! Main ja raha hoon.
Ishwari : Aree !! Ruk .. Kya hua beta? Immediately touch his forehand and realised that he is having fever..
Ishwari : Dev .. Tujhe fever hai. Tu kahi Nahi ja raha hai.. Chal breakfast kar and khaana kha. ( she didn't ask anything about swollen eyes. She knows that it must be because of excessive crying and somewhere she knows the reasons as well.)
Dev: Nahi!! Maa.. Jana jaroori hai. Its important .. Well don't worry I will take medicines.
and He left..
Ishwari crying and not able to see and bear more pain.
Mamaji came and hold her : Ishwari !! Aaj bhi kuch nahi bigda hai ..
Mamajji: Sab tere haath mein .. Sab kuch theek ho sakta hai.. Phir se khushi- hasi aa sakti hai..Iss ghar mein phir se jaan aa sakti hai.. Tumhare bete ne tumhare liye bahut kuch kiya. Tere and bacchiyo ke khushi ke liye woh jo kar sakta tha ussne liye.. Aab usko bhi khush hone ka idikar hai.. Ishwari Sab kuch tumhare haath mein haii.. Sab kuch..
Ishwari was in deep thinking.
With this Dev struggles with his inner turmoil. He didn't call Sonakshi, not even for saying rude things to her.
After 2 weeks, Tina informed Dev that he was supposed to go JLS hospital to meet Dr. Sinha regarding extension plan. But Dev doesn't want to go , but due to pressure from other board members he went there..
Inside Dr. Sinha Cabin.
Dev: Dr. Sinha .. I need more information on about extension plans .. Pls you will give me more files which have more details about extension.
Dr. Sinha: Yes ! Of course.. See Even I don't want to go ahead with this plan without measuring pros and cons of this plan.
Suddenly Mohan- compounder cum peon came to Dr. Sinha Shouting ...
Mohan: Sir !! SIr!! Run .. Devki is coming over here..
Dr. Sinha was scared after hearing Devki name: Dev Sir.. Do u want this files now? If it is not emergency , he will come myself and give it to you.
Dev was shocked to see this scene : Why ? What happened?
Dr. Sinha : Devki is coming.. Well she is so lovely, cutie pie child. But that is problem sometimes.
Dev still in confused : What is the reason?
Dr. Sinha : YOu don't know whenever she comes she make me do some or other things. Although I loved her .. Basically Dev sir .. I love her so I can't say no to her .. One day - I was busy in reading princess story , and I forget that I have to go for lunch with my wife. Well my wife forgives me only after knowing the truth from Dr. SOnakshi.
One day - I have to built doll house- it took 3 hours ..
But last week - She came here with her groming set - I went to operation theatre with pink nail polish.
With this Dev can't control her laughter and start imaging Dr. Sinha with pink nail paint.
Dr. Sinha : Are you laughing ? You won't belive how everyone was staring me. I can't even describe the look of my patient..
Dev: Hmm !! OK go if you want.. I will take these files and will come next for other files.
But Devki was already entered .. She was wearing jeans and pink top with two pony tail. she was carrying two dolls and small bag as well.
Devki: Hello !! I am here.. Are you missing me ?
Dr. Sinha : Yes !! Of course Devki .. How can someone forget you..
Dr. Sinha : Well Devki today am bit busy so am leaving but will definitely play with you some other day.
Devki : No !! Don't go .. I am feeling very bored.. Mumma is busy with patients.. Kids in daycare units are not playing. Pls Pls don't go..
See today I brought Lilly and Annie and all my stuff...We will play together- together..
Dr. Sinha: No ! Not again.. She is hypnotizing me again ! NO !! No !! Today I have to do one of important operation. I need to go and believe me I will come and play with you tomorrow
Devki then noticed Dev who was watching all this ..
Devki: Ohh Pizza Uncle..
Dev: HI Devki..
Devki : Pizza Uncle .. You are free na ? Come play with me then ..
Dev was getting too emotional and he can't say No to Devki : OK Devki . But I won't be able to play much because even I have a meeting and need to go.
Devki: Ohh ! I see .. I don't understand why you all grown ups are so busy.
Devki : No one has any time for me.. With this she take out her lower lip.
Dev can't resist the offer and called Tina to cancel all his appointments. Tina was super excited after hearing this, but she didn't show him her excitement.
Dev : What shld we play with Lilly and Annie.?
Devki : We all are going for picnic. Come on pizza uncle help me in packing some food items . We all are going for picnic.
Dev: Take out her toys from her small bag.
Dev noticed: All plastic toys- one piece of pizza , cake,one small bottle, some food items.
Dev: Where is other toys? Don't you have full sets of these kitchen food items?
Devki : I lost it .. After playing I like to throw toys here and there so I lost it. Mumma said she won't give me toys again and again . I have to play with whatever I have ..
Devki: Let's play with "Picnic" .
Devki : Firstly we need to get ready? Firstly she take out the comb. Starts combing her hair.
Then she asked Dev : Do you want to get ready as well.
Dev was about to open his mouth. But realised Devki already started her grooming session..
After combing his hair She asked : DO you mind if I put some rubber bands to you as well? She giggled..
Dev : Yes ( and closed his eyes)
And after putting small rubber bands.
Devki : I will put powder and sun screen as well.
She never give any option to Dev , other than accepting her offer.
Dev and Devki played together for almost 2-3 hours . Dev didn't even noticed time. It is when Dr. Sinha came back to his cabin noticed both of them playing together.
Dr. Sinha: Dev Sir.. You here .. With small rubber bands hanging his dev's hair.
Dr. Sinha laughed uncontrollably
Dev: Oh ! Yes!! Am saved today but ... again laughed
Dr. Sinha: Yes I understand . Anyway Devki you go now . Your mother will scold us. Go to your daycare unit. Your mom will be coming soon.
Devki : Yeah As such am feeling very hungry.
Dev: Oh yes .. even I am feeling hungry. YOu want to eat pizza.
Devki : No !! Mumma will scold..
Dev: Yeah to both of us.
Devki with sad face : Yeah but I like to... SHe didn't complete the sentence..
Dev: Will you like to come with me for dinner??
Devki : A A AA A A AA .. Mumma
Dev : Don;t worry .. I will ask from your Mumma. But you have to come all alone. See if your mumma will come. Then she might not like to see us eating junk food which you and me likes the most.
Devki : Ok !! If mumma said yes then I will come.
Dev : Great !! See you then this Sunday.. Sunday Night- our dinner night..
Off she goes back to day care unit.
Dev wiped his face and took out all rubber bands from his hair,while Dr. Sinha is still laughing.
Dev: Kal you are suppose to play with her?
Dr. Sinha: Omg .. Bhagwan Meri Raksha Karo..
Dev can't imagined how Devki has create a terror in the mind of everyone
Dev enjoyed her company so much. Today after 2 weeks, he came back to home straight and in fact eats his dinner properly as well.
Next day
In Dev office :
Dev called Sonakshi for permission - to take out Devki along with him .
Dev: Hello Sonakshi !! Its me Dev
Sonakshi : Hmm Hello !! After 2 mins silence Bolo kya hai
Dev: Actually Kal maine Devki ko dinner ke invite kiya tha. Do you mind if I take her out for dinner this Sunday? If you are comfortable and trust me... after which he didn't continue.
Sonakshi: OK.. Come to my place around 7: 30 pm. Main usko ready kar dugi.
Dev thank her but she didn't say anything but hanged the phone.
Super excited Dev called Tina
Dev : Tina!! I want to you to shop for 5-6 year small old girl . Uske liye best pink dress with all accessories shop karo if possible sab pink ho.. And send it to Dr. Sonakshi Bose's house ..
And write : To Devki ... From love : Pizza Uncle.
Tina: Sab Pink ??
Dev : Yes sab pink. But remind you woh best dress ho.. Amount I don't care .. I want best thing for my...
Dev: Pls leave ..
Tina sent beautiful, prettiest dress for Devki , with all accessories- bangles, necklace,socks, beautiful bunny pink rubber bands, pink shoes, even princess wings as well.
Devki was super exicted and showed all items to everyone and waiting for Sunday.
Even Dev was waiting for this day.
On Sunday evening :
Dev booked one of 7th star hotel of the Delhi. Wear black tuxedo . After coming down , even Ishwari and Mamaji was shocked to see Dev like this. Ishwari wants to ask him but decide not to speak anything. Dev informed them that he is going for dinner and will be late.
On 7: 30 pm , He reached Sonakshi's place, wanting for her princess Devki to come.
Then he saw small cute, chubby girl, wearing beautiful pink dress, bunny rubber bands, pink socks, pink shoes, pink necklace, total Pinkie- Pinkie, holding her mumma's fingers, while other hand is busy in holding her pink purse. Trying to walk like model.
Dev couldn't control his laugh .Dev to Devki:
Dev: You are looking absolutely stunning,beautiful. No one in world is as beautiful as you . WIth this he looks at Sonakshi.
Sonakshi tried not to look into his eyes.
Dev: Thank you Sonakshi.. I will take care of her.
Sonakshi: Well Ye uski bag hai: Uss mein kuch extra clothes hai in case of emergency plus water bottle , one small sweater bhi hai- its getting cold during night.
Dev took bag from Sonakshi and went.
After reaching Dev and Devki walk inside the hotel holding hand, went to open air restaurant. Dim light, light music in the background. Lavish decorations of the hotel. But more than that Dev was holding her princess hand for the first time that too with permission from her mother.
After helping her sit in the chair. But he can see that she is still too small to sit comfortable , he immediately ask manager to arrange some pillows for her. SO that she can sit comfortable.
Devki : Wow Pizza uncle.. This place is so good.
Dev noticed that Devki is speaking in some weird way. She is not closing her lips.
Dev: Devki Why are you not closing your lips?IS there any problem ?
Devki: No !! I am not closing it because because lipstick khatam ho jayegi.
Dev: a a a what ?
Devki: Mumma applied lipstick. And agar main lips join karogi then lipstick khatam ho jayegi.
Dev : Nahi aisa kuch nahi hoga.. U just relax..
Devki was not undestanding this.. SO Dev called Sonakshi..
Dev: Sonakshi.. Devki is not joing her lips and in fact her mouth is almost open and talking but..anyway she is saying ( he didn;t complete his sentence)
Sonakshi: Lipstick Khatam ho jayegi
Dev: Oh yes !! How do you know? I am sorry for asking silly questions.
Sonakshi: No its is not lipstick but lipbalm. Pink coloured lipbalm , I kept her in her bag , Show her , she will calm down.
Sonakshi still in hold , Dev to : Devki !! See your lipstick is in your bag. Now you can join your lips and close your mouth.
Devki after seeing her so called lipstick closed her lips . And Dev said- thank you to Sonakshi again.
Sonakshi - No need for that. Aur kuch ho then call me.with this she again hanged the phone.
Dev to devki: Oh come on !! Tell me what do you want ?
Devki : Nood.. but hesistate to speak ..
Dev: Speak baba .. No even will say a word I promise.
Devki : Noodles.. I love chinese. hehe
Dev: Order all her fav chinese food- from wanton soup, nakka noodles, fried rice .
While devki was busy in playing with cultery, Dev noticed this ball dance was going on at the dance floor.
Dev: Will you like to dance with me " MY LADY"
Devki while giggling: Yes pizza uncle.
After reaching dancing floor, Dev lift her Devki , so that both of them can face to face other, keep her one small hand over his shoulder, extend her other small hands fully, dance slowly on slow ryhtm on music.
People around them noticed this unique pair came for dancing , stopped dancing to enjoy their dance. Even DJ stopped playing romantic number, in fact he decided to play- "Meri Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari" Instrumental. While playing this DJ raised his hand towards Dev, to enjoyed his dance with his "lady". For those beautiful moments, Dev forgets everyone. Yes everyone , including him, Ishwari Maa ,even Sonakshi, he was just enjoying giggling sounds which devki was making with each turn around moments. After music stops , Devki hugged him tightly and so is Dev. With this, small tears came , but Dev tried level best not to cry infront of Devki. Almost everyone clapped for wonderful unique so called couple dancing.
One old man came and shaked hand with Dev
Old Man: Oh man !! It was pleasure watching your dance with your daugher..
Dev: Well !! Thank you... (he was happy to hear this but...)
Old Man: Ohh Seriously !! If son is the life line then daughter is hearbeat.. One can't survive without hearbeat. Life need hearbeat to survive- I hope people understands this simple thing.
With this proud Dev hold Devki tightly and return to their seat
And Devki was feeling very hungry, she quickly jumped to her seat.
Devki was struggling to drink her soup because it was hot and secondly spoon was big. Dev noticed this and immediately sit next to her and feed her lovingly.Then even he feed her noodles and fried rice as well She was so full.
Devki : I can't eat anymore now.. I am so full.
But Dev didn't finished his food because he was more busy in feeding her.
Dev in self talk: Whether she is actually full or Shld I force her ? Itna kaam khati hai
Dev Immediately again called SOnakshi"
Dev: WOhhh.. Actually ussne soup, rice and noodles kha liye hai but bahut kaam- kaam khaya hai and she is saying she is full now. What shld I go now?
Sonakshi : Well .. Leave it .. I can't tell u .. Secondly Usko meri aadaat hai so may be yes khaya hoga nahi khaaya hoga ... But like to said- she tasted all the three dishes so am pretty sure uska stomach full ho gaya hoga..Don't worry and she agained hanged her phone.
Dev: Ok Devki .. Let's go
Devki : No!! No !! NO ... You finish your food.. Never ever waste your food. Mumma will scold you..
Dev self talk- Kash tumhari Maa mujhe scold kare..
Dev was eating his foods, and Devki was dancing and moving here and there and entertaining few guest with her talks.
After finishing dinner, Dev payed his bills, asked Devki to go. But Devki was now feeling so sleepy and tired . She immediately raised her hands up. Initally Dev didn't get the message but when
Devki : Pizza uncle !! I am tired and i can't walk anymore.
Dev lift her up and now he is carrying her , her bag.
Devki kissed him : Thank you Pizza uncle for the dress and for dinner.
Dev hugged her tightly and kissed her back: U welcome Jaan.. Anything for you.
By the time Dev reached his car, Devki already slept. Dev kept her on back side of the car, searched inside her bag, saw small blanket inside, immediately cover her up.
First time, Dev drive his car slowly and cautiously, all the time worrying about Devki - she should not get up . Because he don't know what she will do next or may be cry for Sonakshi?
After reaching Sonakshi's place, he immediately called her ..
Sonakshi came quickly outside and lift her up and her bag. Dev was watching her -struggling to carry devki and bag everything.. He wants to help but he didn't come forward. She and Dev didn't say a word to each other.
Dev stand there - thinking - in tears -
Dev- Sona !! I am feeling guilty, ashamed of myself. Within this 2 hours of dinner, I have realised it is so difficult to manage everything all alone. And you are managing things all alone even before her birth. Sab se fight kiya uske survival ke liye ? Kya kya nahi suna hoga tumne ? Kya sirf tumhari responsible thi ? No one came and said anything to me . But tumhe ?Main toh soch bhi nahi sakta hoon kaise fight kiya sab se akele ? TUm toh apni family ke saath bhi nahi thi ? Seriously we man are ...Aaj main aapne liye jitne bhi abusive words bolo kaam hai. Kaam hai..
Yes I said to you - I will never forgive you- I know when I said this thing to you, you know what I mean to say- I will never forgive myself- Kaise maaf karo aapne aap ko ... Kaise ??? When you need me the most - I was not there. I was not there to hold your hand. Kaise face karo tumhare parents ko ?? Kya sochte hoge ki maine unki beti ko use karge chhod diya? with this dev cried uncontrollably ...It is just...
But one thing am proud of is - Sonakshi Bose - you gave wonderful upbringing your daughter. Am proud of you.. Devki- is very happy go lucky girl.
Am proud of you.. and I... I Still love you.. I do... Dev went to home ignoring everyone because he don't want to face anyone. He is feeling miserable and happy at the same time.
Here Sona after changing clothes of Devki , came outside to finish her work. Dada came and sit beside her.
Dada: Kyon Sona? Kyon Jana Diya?
Sona: Dada !! Devki aaj pheli baar ... Dev ke saath baar gayi .. Am happy .. Seriously.. Mujhe bura nahi balki aaccha laga..
Sona: Dada .. Devki ko bhi toh.. aapne father ke saath milna chaiye na
Dada: That man don't deserve all this..
Sona: Dada!! Never ever say a word against Dev pls..
Dada: Tu aaj bhi Dev babu se pyaar karti hai ???
Sona: Always ...Always ...
Dada: Itna sab ho jaane ke baad bhi..
Sona : Yes .. In fact more ...
Dada: tujhe yaad nahi usse tere saath kya kiya ?
Sona: Nahi .. Kuch nahi Kiya .. Dada ..
Sona telling her dada the reason for their breakup once again and explaining every things with logic.

P.S. Yes aaplying pink nail polish, rubber bands is common tortures of small girl . My hubby and my father is victim of this torute by my daughter.Not closing lips after applying even lipbalm is again very common uniques problem faced by every daughter's parentsđ After finishing your food, roaming here and there , entertaining guest is one of so called talent đ¤ of my boy.
