Arey yaar, don't you know its the rule, whatever ishita says and does is right, no matter what criminal activities romi has done he will get away with because ishita says so, and if ishita says raman is the root cause of every single problem in the world no matter how much wrong was done to him, we and raman have to accept it and bow his head down to whoever she says even if the other person was wrong😉

So I do not like and have voiced that I don't like how this patch up came to fruition
However I don't think it's to glorify anyone or anything like that
It's a way the makers want to be "light-hearted" and "funny" but they can't do this with Ishita so it's Raman's time to shine.
My problem is not glorifying or the process of saying sorry bc Raman does need to apologize to Romi. It's now they belittle his emotions and this brothers' fight to something silly. But both Romi and Raman need to own up to their part in their fall out...it took 2 to break the relationship to this extent
It hurts me to see emotions turned to jokes. It doesn't Matter if it's Ishita or Raman's emotions...but to see deep seated and intense emotions disrespected for "humor" is sad.
This isn't Ishita vs. Raman. The problem is more the fact they don't handle Raman's emotions well - they build up his emotions intensely and then either discredit them with anger or a kaand or they mock them with humor...lately they also don't show independently meaningful relationships with him and anyone but Ishita, which is a disservice to him as a son and father and friend.
But these issues I listed are independent of Ishita. Bc if you look at the show both Ishita and Shagun have a clear POV that viewers can follow...it's Raman, on his own, who doesn't.
So for many the problem with this patch up is the lack of delicacy - nothing more or less.
We can only hope the patch up is from both ends and they touch on some of Romi's errors too.
